Chapter 22

*Lauren's POV*
"Heyyyy Camila" Dinah busts open the door. I can tell she feels comfortable here. "Oh hey, Lauren" she turns to me and smiles.
"Hi" I say back.
Normani and Ally follow behind her.
"Hi Lauren!" Ally greets. She's always been the nicest of the three.
"So Mila, Tate- and Ansel, seeing as you've got a thing for him, Lauren" Dinah leans towards me and smirks. Wow she is oblivious as to what's happening between me and Camila; I can't really say that because I was not too long ago.
"Umm I don't know about that. He just asked me to homecoming that's all" I say, looking at Dinah and then to Camila.
"Really? He was all over you Lauren" Normani says. "How could I have not noticed Camila had another hot friend?" Normani mocks him "you're the hottest-"
"Mani, chill" Ally places a hand on Normani's shoulder and laughs.
"ANYWAYS" Dinah interrupts. "Tate said that he would do a makeup party because you bailed, Mila." She teases causing Camila to laugh.
"It's Monday. Homecoming is Friday? There's no point really" Camila says.
"How can he like get it all together for tonight?"
"That's why it's not tonight, stupid" Dinah jokes. "It's Wednesday."
"Maybe." She says.
"What do you mean 'maybe?' What better do you have to do?" Normani says.
Camila shoots me a glare that I don't understand. Does she want me to help?
"I'm really sorry. Camila and I.. Had these plans to... Uh look for my homecoming dress" I add. Camila still looks like she wants something from me.
"So you're just gonna bail again?"
