*Lauren's POV*
We cuddle up in Camila's bed in only our undergarments. My leg is wrapped around hers and my arm is draped across her bare stomach. Her arm is around my shoulder. Her and her many fluffy blankets and pillows keep me warm in this cold autumn night. She grabs a remote from her nightstand and turns on her television.
"Camz?" I ask.
"Yes" She purrs turning her head from the screen.
"I-I love you... so much" I stutter. My shaky hand races lightly up and down her side. "And with it's horrible flaws, also known as Ansel and Tate, this has been... the best day of my life." I admit. I just needed to tell her.
"Really? The best day of your life?" She questions and laughs a breathy laugh. My head lands on her chest.
"Yeah." I chirp.
"You never went to Disney or anything or like sky dove?" She laughs.
"If I had would it really be better than going on a romantic date and cuddling an-"
"Stopping me from getting in a fist fight?" She interrupts.
"Exactly." I laugh.
"Well then I agree, This has been one of the best days of my life, too" She says. My head pops up from her chest.
"One of?" I fake being offended.
"I'm saving the title of 'Best Day Of My Life' for the day we get out of here" She says.
"I'm kinda scared to leave." I accidentally let out. Shît, It's probably not the time to say that.
"Why?" She asks turning to me.
"I'll just miss my family. They settled down here and they don't have to move again and I doubt I'd be able to get them to leave." I say returning my head to her chest.
"We can always come back and visit." She reassures.
"I also feel like we're super young. I never really took time and thought about going away to college before today."
"I always fantasized about it. You have experience since you've moved around but I haven't left this house. I always imagined getting as far away from here as possible though and living in an apartment in the city and being independent." She says.
I gulp hard. I'm no stranger to change and unlike Camila who has lived here her whole life, I've been moved from house to house my whole life. I was always ok with it because I had my family
