Ashley hated when guys waited to see her after the show. She didn't get why, none of them really bothered her, but she still got really nervous when she saw guys at some of her shows wait afterwards to see her.

She gave a big sigh and made her way towards them, hoping they might leave her alone. They didn't.

One gave her a wolf whistle, which really annoyed Ashley. She was not a dog!

"Hey, love!" One of them, possibly the leader, called out to her. "You were good tonight!"

Ashley smiled and thanked him, hoping she could get past. However, he stepped out right in front of her.

"How's about you join us for a drink?"

"Oh, thank you!" Ashley said, feeling her stomach turn into a knot. "But, I really must be heading home!"

The lad gave a snort and leaned forward. Ashley tried not to look too nervous. The lad placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Come on, love! Just one drink?"

"Really, I can't!" Ashley said.

The lad frowned. He stood up straight and glared at her.

"I don't like it when woman say no to me!"

"Well, get used to it, because that's my answer!" Ashley told him!

The other lads turned and looked at their leader. He was glaring right at Ashley. Ashley prayed he couldn't hear her heart beating so fast. Suddenly, the boy grabbed Ashley and pulled her bag off her! He flung it over to one of his friends.

"She thinks she's too good for the likes of us!" He scoffed. His friends laughed. Ashley suddenly felt really scared and before she knew it, she screamed!

"Shut up!" The lad cried, pushing her so hard that Ashley fell backwards and hit her head on the wall.

"Hey! Leave her alone!"

The lad and his mates turned to see Micky and Peter running over to them. Micky stormed over to the lad and shoved him hard.

"That is no way to treat a lady!" Micky shouted, his blood boiling! "Now, get out off here before you regret it!"

The lad stared Micky up and down. He scoffed and snapped his fingers at his friends. He turned to look at Ashley, who was being protected by Peter.

"Not my type anyway!" He scoffed.

Micky watched as they left, snatching Ashley's bag from the one who caught it from the leader. As soon they'd left, Micky went and knelt by Ashley.

"Are you okay?"

Ashley nodded, rubbing the back of her head, and trying to blink the tears away.

"Did they hurt you?" Peter asked.

"No," Ashley told him. "I just screamed because they were starting to scare me! He just didn't like that I refused his offer on a drink!"

Micky and Peter helped her up. Micky felt her shaking. He took his jacket off, and wrapped it over her shoulders. Ashley smiled at him.

"I'm okay!" She reassured Micky. "I just get shaky if I get worked up!"

"Hey, there you are!"

Peter and Micky looked to see Davy walking up to them.

"Mike sent me to look for you-what happened?"

"Ashley just had a little scare," Peter said.

"Are you okay?" Davy asked, turning to Ashley. She nodded at him.

"Look, we have the car round the corner," Davy told her. "Can we give you a lift home?"

Ashley nodded. Micky put his hand gently on her back and they led her back to the car, where Mike was waiting. This wasn't how he'd hope the evening would end, but deep down, he was glad he got to see Ashley. He let Peter climb into the back seat of the car first, then helped Ashley in.

Ashley gave Mike the directions to where she lived, then turned to thank Peter and Micky again.

"Really," Micky said. "I'm just glad we were around to help!"

Ashley smiled at him, and leaned back into her seat. Micky looked at her, suddenly wishing he could just wrap his arms around her and never let her go!
