"Jacelyn!" Jadien yelled from the hallway. Jacelyn was packing up for college. "I'll be out in a minute." Jacelyn said. Jadien headed downstairs. "She still not ready yet?" Janelle asked. Jadien shook his head. "That girl is always late for something. I'm telling you, she'll be late for own wedding too." Jadien joked. "Oh Jacques won't mind." Janelle chuckled. Janelle was seven months pregnant. Jay joined them in the living room. "Where's JayyCee?" he asked. Jadien pointed upstairs. "Still getting ready, as always." he complained. That's when Jacelyn came downstairs with a suitcase and boxes. "Let me help you baby girl." Jay said. Jacelyn sighed. "I can't believe I'm heading off to California for college." she sobbed. Janelle hugged her daughter. "Baby I'm so proud of you. Call me as soon as you get settled in." Janelle said while waving. Jadien grabbed the boxes and packed them outside to the car. "You guys not coming? You don't want to see me go off?" Jacelyn asked. Janelle grabbed her back. "Baby I'm tired plus this baby is killing me. Jay and I still have to pack up ourselves. We're selling the house." Janelle explained. She forgot her parents were moving. Jacelyn quickly hugged her parents. "I love you guys!" she cried. Jay pulled out a box from behind his back. "Here baby girl. Its a gift from your mother and I. We thought you'll enjoy it while you in college." Jay said. Jacelyn opened up the box and was surprised to see an Samsung Galaxy Note. "Oh my gosh! You didn't have to." Jacelyn squealed. She hugged her parents again. "Have fun baby girl but not to much. I have connections up there too." Jay said. Janelle looked at him sideways. "I mean enjoy college life." Jay corrected.
Jadien and Jacelyn walked outside. After graduation, Jadien offered to step in since his mother was busy with the doctor appointments so he decided to bring Jacelyn to college. "JayCee you know you're going to be late." Jadien said. Jacelyn shook her head. "Actually were leaving early. I don't have be there until eighteen hours from now." she laughed. Jadien hated when his sister did this. "C'mon JayCee! Why you always pull the early trick." Jadien whined. Jacelyn laughed. "Get me to the airport! I'm excited to finally be a college girl." Jacelyn eagerly said. Jadien started the car and drove off.

Jacelyn arrived at California State University. She squealed as she jumped out the car. Jadien grabbed her suitcases and boxes. "Thanks for the help!" Jadien complained. Jacelyn turned around to help her brother. "Sorry just so excited to be finally in college." Jacelyn said. "Could I help you Ms...." a guy said to Jacelyn. He was tall and muscular guy. Jacelyn was just about to introduce herself when Jadien interrupted. "No and I believe we can take it from here." Jadien said. "Excuse my brother. He could be a bit of protective. I'm Jacelyn. I'm sorta new to campus." Jacelyn shyly said. He smiled. "DeShawn." he said reaching out his hand. Jacelyn shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, DeShawn." That's when Jadien walked up. "Call me if need ANYTHING. I'm going to kinda miss you lil sis. You know it's hard seeing my baby sister head off to the big girl world. Ja'Quan would be proud too." Jadien said. She could tell he was getting emotional. She ran to hug him. "I'll miss you Jadien. Kiss mama and daddy for me." Jacelyn said. She look up to the sky. "I miss Ja'Quan too. I know he's proud of you." Jadien said. Tears ran down her cheek. Jadien wiped them. "I guess this goodbye Jad." Jacelyn said waving. Jadien hopped in and drove off. "You okay, Jacelyn?" DeShawn asked. She forgot he was standing there. She quickly wiped her tears. "Yeah I'm good." Jacelyn said. He smiled. "Shall I show you around California State University." he said reaching out his elbow. Jacelyn was a shaky about viewing the college with a couple starnger. "C'mon I don't bite!" DeShawn joked. She looked at her phone and realized she hasn't received a text from Jacques ever since yesterday morning. "I guess." she said. "But I'm not holding on to your elbow. DeShawn laughed.
