Chapter Five

~ Jacelyn P.O.V. ~

These past five days has been terrible. Ever since I left Jacques, he's been on my mind constantly. He messed up. He should come back to me. I shouldn't have a reason to run back to him. I forgave last time and he turned back doing it again. I had enough of games. But I do love Jacques, I really do. I don't need to be sitting here with this guy. I shouldn't even took DeShawn offer to go studying with friends. All I see is couples. Its just tearing me apart. Of course Jacques enjoying himself. Yeah I got on instagram and him at Kyra's crib. Hmph clearly he doesn't care as I thought he did.

"Hey Jacelyn, you okay! Lately you been quiet. Is everything going okay." Kacey asked. I had totally zoned them out. I nodded. "Look I'm sorry but I have to go. I'm supposed to be meeting someone back at dorm." I got up. DeShawn got up and stop me."Hey! Hey! Wait up!" DeShawn said running after me. I turned around and stopped. "Look I'm just not feeling myself." I explained. DeShawn nodded his head. "Boyfriend problems?" DeShawn asked. I shyly nodded. DeShawn grabbed my arm. "You wanna talk about it. I'm a good listener. You can vent to me." DeShawn offered. I shook my head. That's when I seen someone unexpected. "JayyCee!" JaMarcus yelled. I ran over to him. "JaMarcus, oh my gosh! What you doing in California." I said while hugging him. "I came out here with my girl. Once everybody went to do they own thang, I decided it time for me to settle down." he said pointing to girl. He signaled for her come.

"JayyCee meet Brooke. Brooke this is JayyCee, that's Jadien little sister." JaMarcus explained. Brooke put her hand out to shake my hand. "Girl JaMarcus told me so much about you. He told me you hated him back then." Brooke chuckled. I chuckled too. "You have no idea. But how the two of you met?" I asked. "At my sister birthday party." Brooke said. "Well of course it was after your graduation party. Jadien and I headed over to his girlfriend party and that's where I met Brooke. We been dating for about two months." JaMarcus said. I was slightly impressed. "Waaait did you say Jadien girlfriend?" I questioned. JaMarcus lowered his head. "Ummm Brooke and I have to go but it was nice seeing you again JayyCee. Tell my bro Jacques I said good luck with his project." JaMarcus said walking around. JaMarcus started grinning.

I walked back over to DeShawn. "Thanks for the offer but I have someone I can talk to about my situation I'm going through." I said. DeShawn nodded. "I clearly understand." DeShawn said. I walked back to group of friends. "I'm sorry you guys but I have go." I said waving. Kacey waved back. "See you tomorrow in class" Sydney said. I smiled. I rushed off towards my dorms. I pulled out my phone and dialed Jacques.
