~ Two Weeks Later~
The Cortes was getting ready to attend their second son funeral. Jacques, Devon & Alexis rode with the family in the family car. The rest of the crew met them there. When they arrived, everybody was standing outside in front of the church. "There's Destinee. I wonder how she's holding up?" Alexis asked. They got out the family car. Jacelyn was holding on to Jacques. That's when Destinee approached her. "Hey JayyCee I'm sorry for your lost. I know its very hard losing him. Its hard for me too saying we got into an argument before he got shot. I'm here for you." she said. Jacelyn nodded. They hugged each other. "You welcome to sit with us." Jacelyn offered. Destinee followed.

Today we gathered here for Jadien De'Sean Cortes. He was the child of Janelle Cortes. The little brother of Ja'Quan Cortes. Also the older brother of Jacelyn Cortes. I see we have the father of Jadien, Jay West. But this sermon will not be full of sadness. It will be full of happiness that God has call him home to join his brother. Now we will hear a song from Destinee Love and JaMarcus Perez.

Destinee got up and walked to the stage. That's when JaMarcus headed up to. Jacques was shocked. He picked up the microphone.

JaMarcus:
Sorry I never told you

All I wanted to say

Now it's too late to hold you

'Cause you've flown away

So far away

Destinee:
Never had I imagined

Living without your smile

Feeling and knowing you hear me

It keeps me alive

Alive

Both:
And I know you're shining down on me from heaven

Like so many friends we've lost along the way

And I know eventually we'll be together

One sweet day

Destinee:
Darling I never showed you

Assumed you'd always be there

I, I took your presence for granted

But I always cared

And I miss the love we shared

Both:
And I know you're shining down on me from heaven

Like so many friends we've lost along the way

And I know eventually we'll be together

One sweet day

JaMarcus:
Although the sun will never shine the same

I'll always look to a brighter day

Destinee:
Lord I know when I lay me down to sleep

You will always listen as I pray

Both:
And I know you're shining down on me from heaven

Like so many friends we've lost along the way

And I know eventually we'll be together

One sweet day

And I know you're shining down on me from heaven

Like so many friends we've lost along the way

And I know eventually we'll be together

One sweet day

JaMarcus:
Sorry I never told you

Both:
All I wanted to say

Everybody stood up and clapped. They walked down towards their seat.

"JaMarcus that was beautiful. I didn't know you can sing like that." Janelle said. JaMarcus shrugged his shoulders. "I don't let people really know that part of me. I'm sorry for your lost." he said. He hugged her. That's when Jacelyn walked up. "That was amazing. I enjoyed it. And I know Jadien did too." she said. "You gonna be okay?" he asked. "Of course. She has me. I'm never leaving her ever again. I need her. She need me." Jacques said walking up. JaMarcus smiled. "Keep her lil bro. She's good to be around." he said walking off with Brooke. Destinee walked up. "JayCee. You going to the grave?" she asked. She looked at Jacques. He nodded. "Sure. I'm coming. Hey I'm sorry about Jadien. I know y'all didn't have much time together." Jacelyn said. Destinee smiled. "God gave me just the right amount of time with him." They walked out the church to the family car.
