*** Three days later***

~Jacques P.O.V~
Today was the day they released me. The whole time Jacelyn stayed by my side. Oh Kelsey too. I think they created a bond. That's when the doctor walked in. "It was a miracle. You're a very lucky man to survive that shot. The bullet was very close to your heart but we removed it. You're welcome to go home now." the doctor said. Jacelyn thank the doctor. "You ready baby?" Jacelyn asked. I nodded. She helped me out the bed in a wheelchair. It felt kinda weird being pushed in a wheelchair.

Everybody cheered when they seen me. "Dawg didn't I tell you be careful. Next thing I know you laid up in a hospital bed." Devon joked. Alexis playfully hit him. "Glad to have to back Jacques." Alexis said. "I'm glad to be back." I said. Kelsey walked on the side of me. I love this girl to death. Bryce handed me a card and balloons. Rashan pulled out a teddy bear from behind his back. "You know I don't do that gay stuff!" I said hitting the bear out my face. Maureen laughed. Taylor did too. Jacelyn put me to the car. She walked over and in the driver's seat. "Alright Mr. and Mrs. Perez I can take it from here. Kelsey jumped in the backseat. She buckled her seat belt. I turned around and smiled at her. They waved goodbye at us. Devon and Alexis hoped in their car. Taylor and Rashan hoped in their car. Maureen and Byrce hoped in the car too. We all rode out the hospital parking lot.

Just when I thought love was a lie

Then you showed up in my life

You believe in what I do

But I need your trust that we're gonna pull through

I'll be I'll be there for you

I'll be I'll be I'll be there for you

I'll be I'll be I'll be there for you

I'll be I'll be I'll be there for you

The world won't see it

But between you and me, it's perfect

Love in one word is your name
baby to me, you're worth it- J.Reyez

I reached for Jacelyn hand. She actually let me. "I'm sorry." I apologized. She looked at me. "Baby I forgive you." she said. I smiled.

We dropped Kelsey off back at home. "Do you have to go? I want go with you." Kelsey begged. "I'm sorry baby but I have to back to school. Plus you have school too." Jacelyn explained. Kelsey hugged her tightly. "When the next time I'll see you?" she asked. "Christmas break. But here's my number. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm one phone call away." Jacelyn said. She hugged Kelsey. "Gosh I'm going to miss you." I hugged Kelsey and my parents. "Keep her. She She's a keeper." my pops said referring to Jacelyn. "I wouldn't trade her for the world." I said. "Be careful sweetheart. Call me when you get home." my mother said. Jacelyn smiled. I walked to my car. "Hey shorty?" I called out. Jacelyn looked over. "Wassup?" She said. "Thank you for sticking by my side." I thanked. Jacelyn nodded. She climbed in her car and drove towards the highway. I watched as she left. I knew this wasn't the end of us. I finally climbed in my car and took off to the airport.
