Jacelyn turned around to see Jacques catching up to her. She stopped. "Look I know I made tons of mistakes and each time you forgave me. I didn't deserve each chance I got but I did say all I need was one chance. Well this that one chance." He got on one knee. She gasped. "Baby we been at this roller coaster together for so long. We been through it all from day one. I always thought I wouldn't find that one girl that puts up with me for this long but you have. Here we are freshmen in college. How long have we been at it? Oh yeah middle school. You wasn't mines but you was mines. Well at least in my head. Then high school hit me. I knew I had to make you mines. I wasn't going to continue to fight the urge of making you my girl. Now that I have. Its time to take this relationship higher. I gotta have you by my side. I realize I'm a complete mess without you and I know you is too. I need you. You need me. We need each other. I have always had a thang for you. I just didn't want to ruin Ja'Quan and Jadien boy code but they knew I was all good for you. I'll never forget when I went to Jadien for advice to talk to you. He wouldn't tell me but Alexis did. Of course for even exchange of what Devon had for her. But I guess what I'm saying is you're my rider girl and I wanna continue this ride with you. Not just as my girlfriend but something way more. I want a family. I want you. Jacelyn Marie Cortes aka JayCee would you do me the honors of being Mrs. Jacelyn Marie Cortes Perez? Will you marry me? Janelle stood at the door watching her daughter. "Awww Jacques! Yes! Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" Jacelyn shouted with tears. Jacques pulled out the 18 carat diamond ring. Jacelyn gasped. He slid it on her finger. He got up and kissed her.
Everybody clapped and cheered. Janelle cried. "My baby girl growing up on me." Jay walked up. "You better hold on to my baby girl. She's all I got left. Keep her safe." Jay said serious. Jacques nodded, "Actually I transferred to the California State University. I will be playing basketball there. Just to be with my girl like I should've been from the start. Even though my heart is in Georgia State University but I'm risking playing for the Georgia Bears to play with California Eagles." Devon, Bryce and Rashan gasped. "You for real bro." they all asked. "Well I had transferred to Georgia University to be with you." Jacelyn said. "Wait I'm confused. You both transferred to each other schools but not at the same school." Devon said confused. Jacelyn and Jacques laughed. "I'm just kidding bro. You know I couldn't leave the Georgia Bears. Its in my heart." Jacques explained. Jacelyn nodded. "I'm still at California State University. I actually will be going with y'all to championship game though. I got nominated to be the reporter for y'all. My roommate, Kacey going too." Jacelyn explained. They boys sighed. "I thought yo boy actually left us for a moment." Rashan said.
They helped packed up Ms. Cortes belongings from the room. The OBGYN came in. "Well Ms. Cortes congratulations on the new edition. I enjoyed having you as my patient. Devon I'm guessing your girlfriend will be next right son." Everybody nodded. "You already know Alexis will be back with her crazy a**!" Bryce said. Alexis nudged him. He chuckled. They all waved goodbye. Ms. Coopes pushed Janelle out in the wheelchair. She was holding Maddison. Jay opened up the door and carefully put her in. He put Maddison in her car seat and buckled her in. Alexis, Devon, Bryce, Rashan, Maureen, and Taylor waved goodbye at them. They walked to their car and drove off back to college.
