Me and Lola sprinted off the plane the second it touched down at the airport. The flight felt annoyingly long,  every passing minute dragging on, and we're itching to leave the plane, as soon as we stood up. We were both on a mission, speed walking through the crowded terminal. Moving like we needed to be somewhere important, only focused on reaching the baggage claim.

We finally reached it and I could feel my impatience running thin. with the annoying beep of the conveyor belt echoing around the room, and the sight of endless bags circling made it feel like time was moving slower.

~ I chose the worst time to raw-dog a flight. this would be way more bearable if I had just backed two joints and at least 5 shots beforehand ~

"oh my god- where is our shit." Lola crossed her arms and huffed, scanning the bags that came by while I paced back and forth on my phone.

then after what felt like forever, I spotted my baby pink suitcase, and Lola's white one appeared right after. We grabbed them quickly, looking at each other with an exhausted expression.

"finally," Lola muttered, wiping beads of sweat from her forehead. "can't wait till we get to sit under a fan and chiilll dude." she continued.

"forreal."

we pushed through the crowd. until we got to the entrance. now outside, i pulled out my phone and called an Uber.

"I need to get the hell out of here- it's toooo many people today..it's a fucking tuesday- like?! and I needa smoke,"  I sassed, rubbing my temples.

Lola nodded and yawned. "yeah ..and I'm about three seconds away from passing the fuck out- right here." she finished and threw her hood on.

The uber arrived in about 10 minutes, and they threw their bags in the trunk before collapsing into the backseat. The driver, an older man with a thick accent, tried to make small talk, but both the girls just nodded and hummed at appropriate times.

After what felt like forever, we finally made it to my apartment. after getting out and lugging our suitcases from the trunk, I immediately called crystal. saying, "open the door," the minute she answered. not even bothering with a 'Hello' first. a second later, she responded.
