~Michael~
I woke up to the sound of calm talking. Lying on Noah's lap, I carefully sat up, adjusting my eyes with a slow blink as I looked over to see Elias sitting on the arm chair across from the couch.
I stretched my arms up, standing up off the couch, too tired to acknowledge either of the people in the room.
I walked to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water and chugging it down.
"No "good morning?" Woah." Elias took a sip of coffee out of a Starbucks cup he was holding. I looked at the time, seeing it was almost 9.
"Good morning." I smiled with a flattened glare, leaning over the back of the couch behind Noah.
"Where's Willow?" I whispered to Noah, tilting my head.
"Still asleep, somehow." He shrugged, turning his head and giving me a light kiss.
Elias gagged dramatically, I rolled my eyes, grabbing Noah's face and roughly kissing him again.
"Ew- do not make out in front of me." He turned his head away with a hand in front of his face.
As if on cue, as I pulled away, Willow started crying for me from the bedroom. It's like she waits for me to wake up.
I walked to the bedroom and flicked the light on. She sat up on the bed, "Promise we'll get you a proper bed today, sunflower." I smiled, picking her up. "You're almost old enough for a big bed, aren't you?" I nuzzled her like I always do in the morning.
She giggled, her tail wagging.
I took her out to the living room, seeing Elias hand Noah a bottle of pills, which he instantly took one.
"You drugging my mate?" I crooked an eyebrow.
"Painkillers, dude, calm down." He placed his hands in his pockets with a laugh.
I placed Willow down on the couch, she crawled over to Noah and grabbed on his arm.
"Dada!" She grinned, pulling herself up to stand as she held onto him for support.
He smiled, looking over at her as he sat up properly to make sure she didn't fall.
"Your bandages should probably be changed soon.." I kneeled down on the couch next to him. I didn't want to do it while Willow was there though, knowing it was a pretty gruesome sight.
"I should get going, your sister is forcing me to go food shopping." He grabbed his phone off the coffee table and placed it in his pocket.
"Alright, thanks for saving my ass with the painkillers." Noah chuckled, Willow holding onto one of his arms, and me holding onto the other as I rested my head on his shoulder and kissed his mark gently.
"Definitely not the first time." Elias rolled his eyes, walking to the front door and leaving before closing it behind him.
Speaking of shopping, we had a ton of shit to buy. It made me overwhelmed just to think about all the stuff we still needed.
We had the main furniture we needed, but we still had so much little shit to buy.
Medicine, toys for Willow, food, books, electronics, blankets, clothes. The list goes on, forever.
Noah stood up, Willow squeaked with surprise, holding onto the couch so she didn't fall. He suddenly tossed his phone to me, I stumbled to catch it, looking at him with a confused face.
"Can you order whatever we need?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Sure." I shrugged, unlocking his phone and starting to order the what felt like hundreds of shit we needed.
After an hour or so, I finally finished going through and getting everything we needed, turning the phone off and placing it on the coffee table.
Noah was sitting on the carpet, leaning against the couch as he helped Willow practice walking.
"Dada.." She stumbled over to Noah and fell into his lap with a chirp.
"Good girl." He smiled, helping her back up to her feet so she could try again.
She concentrated as her feet moved carefully and she walked over to the coffee table, holding onto it for support.
