"Just a little longer, sunflower.." I whispered to Willow, her eye was bleeding heavily as I tried to keep her calm best I could.
I had a plan.
I'd take the desk and pull it below the window, crawl out, and do my best to run to the nearest help.

Okay..

I grabbed onto the almost broken desk and dragged it below the window. It shook as I stepped on it, I knew it would break the second I jumped. So I only had one shot.
I took a deep breath, jumping up and grabbing onto the edge of the window.
The desk crumbled below me as I pulled myself up the wall, only hanging on by my fingers as I used all my strength to climb up.

I crawled through the opening, the dirt from the grass rubbing against my knees.
I was met with a not so deep forest, and the sun was about to set. I stumbled to my feet and instantly started to sprint through the trees, hearing branches and leaves crack beneath me.
I immediately recognized where I was, the forest just outside of town. I'd be able to get to the hospital in ten minutes, hopefully.

Suddenly I tripped, my arms wrapped around Willow to make sure she didn't fall as I fell to the ground.
"Fuck-" I cursed, feeling an intense stinging pain. I looked down to see the source of the pain came from a gash that scratched down my leg. Blood filled the wound, running down my skin and into the dirt. "Dammit.." I mumbled, looking back to see the rock I had tripped on covered with blood. "Fucking rock."

I seethed my teeth as I stumbled to stand up and continue.
I didn't have my phone, I couldn't call an ambulance and I probably looked insane to people driving by on the road. Covered in blood, holding a screaming child.
The entire world spun around me as I ran out the other side of the trees, into town. I wanted to fall to the ground and just pass out so badly.

But I couldn't until Willow got help.

I barely noticed how people gasped at me as I ran down the sidewalk, nobody actually cared enough to do anything, let alone help.
My chest tightened as I breathed heavily, trying to calm down my racing heart and exhausted lungs just as I reached the hospital and rushed in through the ER door.

The poor woman at the front desk flinched with an audible yelp when she saw me. She stood up and without a word more and grabbed my hand, dragging me and Willow down the hallway to the closest doctor.

"Miss!" She yelled out as she opened a door, scaring the doctor half to death with her entrance. I collapsed to the floor finally, my legs unable to take any more as I wheezed for a breath.

"Is that the king's omega?" The doctor said with confusion as she walked up to me, now noticing Willow. "Call Dr. Brown and tell him to go to surgery room 134, I'll meet him there." The doctor said to the secretary, who immediately listened and grabbed the phone, calling whoever Dr. Brown was over the intercom.

"Please don't take— her from me." I croaked out in a tired and beaten voice to the woman in front of me.

"Michael Afton, is it?" She asked, I nodded. She gently took Willow from my wrap I had her in. I whimpered, I didn't want to trust her with my baby, but I didn't really have a choice. It was this, or she died.
So I let her take Willow away.
"Call a doctor, to look at his wounds." The woman said to the secretary, who nodded.

"I think Dr. Grey is the only one available right now." The secretary whispered, as if it was a secret.

"Is he really the only one available?" The doctor sighed, she nodded.
"Well, Mr. Carter will kill us if he's not treated, so get him here."

"Michael Afton..." The secretary mumbled under her breath, searching for my file in the computer as she called for whoever Dr. Grey was to help me.
"I'll call your emergency contact, Dr. Grey will be with you shortly. Do you need help getting on the bed?" She said, looking back at me. I shook my head, standing up, but almost immediately falling. She caught me.
