For a few months now, Joshua and his boyfriend have finally put an end to their love story. He thought that taking the decision to end it all like this would be the best idea ever, but his heart is screaming at him that it's not over, that there's still love between them and that with a few calm conversations everything can go back to the way it was, maybe his heart is right, maybe he really should give this to this love story a second chance. Maybe this boy is the man of his life, maybe...

Arms wrapped around his waist and a head resting on his shoulder prevent him from thinking further, Joshua sighs and places his own hands on his elder's, the latter smiles and shyly places a kiss on the nape of his friend's neck, Joshua smiles back and makes Jeonghan let go of him and once he's free he turns to his elder, Jeonghan makes a slight pout when he sees his friend's face. Joshua's face is marked by fatigue and sadness.

" Shuji-ya. You're torturing yourself because of him, it's over and over with him. I know it's not easy, but you have to accept that he played with your feelings. "

" I can't believe all this time he's just been doing it for fun. You're right Jeonghan I have to stop thinking about him, it's over and over with him. There's no going back, right ? "

Jeonghan shakes his head negatively, and Joshua smiles softly. Without even asking, he takes his friend in his arms and the elder immediately returns the younger's embrace, they stay like that for about thirty seconds before letting go and going about their business, Joshua off to prepare some food while Jeonghan sets the table.

" We should go out to eat sometime."

" Where do you want to go out to eat ? Wherever you go, I'll follow."

" There's a new restaurant that opened around the corner, maybe we can try it out next week ? "

" Sure."

A smile takes its place on Jeonghan's lips, and it immediately makes Joshua smile too. The younger man wouldn't know why, but being with his eldest always feels good, he feels reassured and in his place, and what he doesn't know is that Jeonghan thinks exactly the same. He loves his friend, a little too much in fact, but he'd never dare tell him so.

- The following week, at the restaurant.

Jeonghan and Joshua had only one thing in mind for the whole week : to go to the restaurant Joshua mentioned together, and they're not disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and calm, the furnishings are modern and classy, it's really something that suits them and they know they'll be coming here more often from now on. Everything was going well until...

" Joshua ! "

He looks up and sighs when he sees it's his ex. He rolls his eyes and then feels Jeonghan grab his hand, almost automatically Joshua interlaces his fingers with those of his elder and looks towards his ex.

" What do you want ? "

" I made a mistake leaving you and I want us to... "

" Shut up. It's over and over ! You've ruined so much time of my life, you're certainly not going to stop me from being happy again. Go away from me. "

" You're not going to tell me you're in a relationship with...him ? "

Joshua feels his blood boiling, he knows he's acting on impulse but he needs his ex to understand that this is the end and no going back elsewhere is possible. So he rises from his chair and leans towards his elder, slowly catching Jeonghan's face between his hands and placing his lips on that of his supposed friend. His surprise is great when he feels Jeonghan kiss him back and his hands run through his hair.

After maybe ten seconds, Joshua opens his eyes and looks around. His ex is gone, so he allows himself to move away from Jeonghan, but automatically a feeling of guilt comes over him. He doesn't feel guilty about kissing Jeonghan, but he does feel guilty about wanting to kiss him again.

" Hm, I'm sorry it was the only way I could get him to leave."

" Don't worry, it didn't bother me. "

Jeonghan starts to blush, and Joshua finds him much too cute like that, slowly he takes his eldest's hand back in his own and gently Jeonghan raises his gaze and when his eyes meet Joshua's he feels his heart do a rollercoaster in his ribcage.

" Are you stressed ? Your hands are wet, I want to feel your pulse accelerate faster than usual. "

" This situation makes me nervous. I've got something to tell you."

" You know you can tell me anything Jeonghan. I'm not going to judge you."

" To tell you the truth, I haven't thought of you as a friend for maybe months and months now. I have feelings for you but I never dared tell you because you were in a relationship. "

" Was it when I told you I was in a relationship that you realized your feelings for me ? "

".Hm, I think my jealousy exploded at that moment. Without even realizing it, I was really possessive of you and it hurt me to see you with someone other than myself."

" From now on you won't have to be jealous of anything. Because I think we can let our hearts decide what happens next. "

Jeonghan blinks, not understanding what this means, and it's only when Joshua stands up again and kisses him a second time in the same evening that he really understands what the younger man is getting at. Without even hesitating, he puts his hands back where they were before, in the younger man's hair, and closes his eyes, savoring every second of this delicious kiss.

After a few seconds, Joshua pulls back and sits down again, taking Jeonghan's hand in his own. With his free hand, he picks up a piece of his food and holds it out to his eldest, Jeonghan blushes even more and opens his mouth, Joshua places the food inside and together they continue their evening as if the incident with Joshua's ex had never happened.

" This evening is so magical and almost unreal to me. "

" I assure you that I'm going to be the best boyfriend possible for you, because you deserve all the respect in the world and eternal love. "

" You deserve to be taken care of and made happy too, and that's what I'm here for..."

Joshua begins to smile, and Jeonghan smiles back. This evening is definitely the beginning of a beautiful love story between them, coming here to this restaurant is for them the most beautiful and incredible idea they could have had, by mutual agreement they promise each other to come here on every anniversary they're going to spend. In a sense, this restaurant will become theirs. The place where their love was born and where their relationship evolved. Joshua and his ex are definitely over and over, but with Jeonghan it's definitely the future, the future, the one love he really wants to keep by his side forever. As long as he has Jeonghan, he can only be happy, and that goes for Jeonghan too. As long as he has Joshua with him, he can only be happy.
