Chapter XXXI

Cassidy Griffin was studying for her Spanish 1 test when Persephone and the others appeared. Thinking it was just a hallucination due to over-studying, she went back to work. However, when she heard the group talking, she could no longer deny that they were really there.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?"

Persephone stared, "You can see us?"

Cassidy laughed, "Uhm, duh. Are you a friend of my grandma's or something?"

Lily coughed, "Oh my god, she can actually see us."

Cassidy frowned, "Okay, what's going on?"

Snow looked toward the kitchen just across the hall, "Is there somewhere a little more... private?"

Cassidy rolled her eyes, "So you mean to tell me that you're all fictional characters that came to the real world from books, and that you're attached to me like some sort of parasite, and now you have to find the rest of the people who left so that you can save the world?"

Effie clenched her teeth, "When you put it like that, I wanna say no. But, yes. Kind of."

Cassidy laughed, "I think I'm just going crazy..."

Persephone snorted, "Oh trust me, you do NOT know what crazy is."

Cassidy stared at the group, "Then lets test it." She grabbed her Spanish book off her desk, "If what you say is true, this book will go right through you."

She threw the book at Persephone, who stood perfectly still. The book passed straight through her and slammed to the ground.

Cassidy stared at the book, "What do you need me to do?"

Chapter XXXII

Lucas Rothchild laughed, "I know you're kidding. You're just one of my friends' buddies trying to prank me."

Frank sighed for the third time that evening, "I'm not kidding. We are fictional characters from books who had to escape to the real world when the villains attacked."

"Mhm. Sure."

Walt growled, "Kid, look. That is Peeta Mellark. Tell me you recognize him."

Lucas looked up, "Yeah, I recognize him, but he's probably just some crazy fan wannabe with dirt on his face. Of another prankster."

Frank groaned and grabbed a pencil off the desk, "Kid, throw this at him. It'll go straight through him."

"I'm not just gonna throw a pencil at a random person -"

"THROW IT!"

Lucas flung the pencil at Peeta. It soared through the air and right through Peeta's head, finally landing on the bed behind him."

Lucas's shoulders slunk, "You're kidding me, right?"

Lucas sighed, "So you're really fictional characters?"

Ron rolled his eyes, "It's about time."

Alex continued, "We've found a way to get in contact with Hazel through her diamonds. We're trying to find ways to get a hold of the others."

Lucas, "So the power outage and water mishap weren't coincidences?"

Fang laughed, "Leo and Percy."

Lucas chuckled, "Well that's just a great pair, isn't it? Anyways if you're trying to find people, you've come to the right place."

Peter smiled, "And why is that?"

Lucas smirked, "I just happen to be the student body president."

Chapter XXXIII

George Ramzel was the second smartest person Percy had ever met; the first being Annabeth. He'd picked up on the group immediately, and it took Percy only 20 minutes to explain everything to him with no problems.

"Okay. I think I get it."

Percy coughed, "Really? You got it that quickly?"

George laughed, "Yeah. It's not rocket science. Lots of scientists have assumed that there was life on other planets. It's not hard to accept the possibility of other dimensions. It's actually been assumed by a couple, hell, I've assumed it a couple times, but none could ever get enough energy to power the technology needed to travel to them."

Percy stared, "Uh huh."

"It's actually amazing that your people were able to create such advanced technology AND get enough energy to run it."

Harry frowned, "We're not prehistoric barbarians."

George sighed, "Anyways, do you know exactly how many realms there are?"

Gale cut in, "One per series. Now can we please move on to something more important."

George frowned, "What exactly am I supposed to do?"

Aslan explained, "Percy blew up the water fountains earlier today and sent out a message in the water. We're hoping somebody saw it. We need you to look for any messages from the others; maybe even see if anyone you know would be a good match for them."

"Okay. So if the water malfunction was caused by you, I'm guessing someone caused the power outage too."

Puck laughed, "From our group, no. We think Leo may have something to do with it..."

"How many people came from Heroes of Olympus?"

Percy laughed, "11, I think."

George smiled, "So. When do we start?"
