Chapters XXXVII - XXXIX

Chapter XXXVII

Annabeth sat in the back of the cafeteria with the group, listening in on Maddie's conversation with her twelve close friends. She'd already picked up a few names: Jordan, George, and Melanie.

They'd searched the building immediately when they'd gotten to the school. They didn't find anything; however, this was expected, as the janitors and "power of the night", so to speak, would have swept away any sign left. It's was still worth a look.

"When Maddie gets to her science class and all the kids are in their home rooms, we're gonna look again." Annabeth sighed, will my life be like this forever?

Hermione smiled, "Good plan. And if we find anything?"

Jack laughed, "What do you think we do? We respond."

The group watched Maddie walk into her home room with two friends whose names were discovered to be McKenna and Tanner. When the hallways were clear, the group set out again.

Katniss stopped in the 600 hallway to check out six sticky notes that spelled out TANNER. After closer inspection, however, Annabeth and the others decided it meant nothing and moved on.

Annabeth was beginning to think this was a bust just like the morning. They'd checked the classrooms, halls, offices, cafeteria, gym, and auditorium and had found nothing of importance.

That only left the courtyards.

They checked the small courtyard next to the gym first. Though there were some strange plants, there was nothing to lead them to another group of characters. They moved on.

The 7th grade courtyard was substantially bigger than the first. It even had its own small minnow pond. As they walked in, Annabeth marveled at the stunning architecture in the place. She walked farther into the courtyard, then suddenly froze.

Right in front of her, in the dirt, was a sketch of an arrow. And it was drawing itself.

Chapter XXXVIII

Hazel listened in on Ali's strange fashion discussion in the morning before class and was officially scared of chic clothing.

Ali sighed, "McKayKay why can't you just where a skirt for once."

The girl sitting across from her, supposedly McKayKay, replied, "Because skirts are just plain weird. They make me feel like I'm showing off things that I shouldn't. AND DON'T CALL ME MCKAYKAY! My name is McKenna."

Ali laughed, "It's either that or Mustachio."

Hazel chuckled, "Sounds like Nymphadora."

Tonks's hair flashed to a bright red, "DON'T call me NYMPHADORA."

The girl next to Ali sighed, "Just call her McKenna. She obviously doesn't want a nickname!"

McKenna smiled, "Thank you, Nevada!"

At this point, the three girls laughed, joined by the other three girls and three boys at the table, and Hazel was officially bored. She decided to check on the diamond.

When she came to the vending machine she reached under it and felt around. She silently cursed as she yanked her hand back out, blood and a sharp piece of diamond coming with it. Despite the pain, she smiled, the diamond was broken.

She reached under the pieces, grimacing and cursing whenever she cut herself. Finally, she found the piece of paper underneath and read:

Hazel,

It's Frank. I'm with Ron Weasley, Peeta Mellark, Peter, Nicholas Flamel, Walt, Fang, William Charming, and Alex Rider. For us to see each other, we need to know the full names of each other's hosts. Please place it in a new diamond and put it back under the vending machine. I'll tell you mine once I get a reply. I'll check as often as possible. I'll see you soon.

Hazel smiled and whispered the five words she'd been thinking as she read the letter, "I knew you'd find me."

Chapter XXXIX (Author's Note: Everything is translated to English, but there is still a lot of Greek in this chapter. Have fun! :D)

The others watched as Thalia drew the small lopsided arrow into the dirt. She laughed at her terrible drawing skills. She literally had no artistic talent. It would have to do.

"Do you think they'll notice?" She asked the group.

Suddenly, as if summoned by her words, the dirt began to part in a new drawing. When it finished, it spelled out Ανναμπεθ. Annabeth.

Ms. Jones laughed, a rare occasion on her part, "I think someone already did."

Thalia smiled. Annabeth had watched her draw. She wrote a message back: Ανναμπεθ; Είναι Θάλεια! Annabeth? It's Thalia!

She wrote back: Θάλεια! Ευχαριοτώ τους θεούς είναι εού! Ποιος είσαι με; Thalia! Thank the gods it's you! Who are you with?

Thalia replied: Ξιννυ, Φοχφαγε, Ελλα, και η κα Ξονες. Τι γίνεται με σένα; Ginny, Foxface, Ella, and Ms. Jones. How about you?

Annabeth wrote back: Ερμιόνη, Κάτνις, Συσαν, Σοφιε, Σαδιε, Μαχ, Σαβρινα Ξριμμ, και Ξαγκ. Θάλεια, είμαστε στη μέση της Προφητείας Επίθεση Βιβλίου. Hermione, Katniss, Susan, Sophie, Sadie, Max, Sabrina Grimm, and Jack. Thalia, we're in the middle of the Book Attack Prophecy.

Thalia sighed as she wrote: Το ξέρω. Σκέφτηκα ότι ήταν. Τώρα πες μου το όνομα του υπολογιστή σας πριν τελειώσει ο χρόνος. I know. I figured we were. Now tell me your computer's name before we run out of time!

Annabeth replied: Υποθέτω θα σήμαινε υποδοχής και όχι από τον υπολογιστή. Μάντισον Ξαγκ. Και σου; I'm assuming you meant host rather than computer. Madison Jack. And yours?

Thalia smiled as she wrote the final words: ΜγΚεννα Μουστάκι. McKenna Mustache.

The world around them furiously glitched. Although they didn't know, it had for McKenna and Maddie too, and after staring at each other for two minutes, they soon realized they were the only ones who had experienced it.

When the glitching stopped, a blond stood in front of Thalia. Annabeth spoke, "Computer? Really?"

Thalia laughed, "Nice to see you too."
