Chapter XLIX
As Maddie walked out of the school, McKenna at her side, they noticed a disturbance by the door, a glitch as if is video game. Within a few seconds, it showed to be Annabeth and Thalia with their groups.
Maddie smiled, "Thalia Grace, I presume?"
Thalia laughed, "You presume correctly." Annabeth chuckled, "And you must be McKenna." McKenna grinned, "And you Annabeth."
Maddie spoke, "Okay I'm sorry, but I've gotta guess the others since I've gotten them all right so far." She turned towards Thalia's group, "Let's see. Ginny Weasley, Foxface, Ella Martinez, and Mrs. Jones?"
Sophie snorted, "Dang, that girl's good."
Maddie laughed, "Happy to oblige."
McKenna, "Maddie's a genius when it comes to this kinda stuff. She's read every single fictional series, like, ever. She pretty much knows everything there is to know about these books. It's actually kinda impressive."
Maddie chuckled, "You say that like it doesn't happen everyday."
McKenna, "You know I don't like the flaunting."
Maddie smiled, "Yes. Because I am definitely waving my knowledge in your face. I'm so, terribly sorry."
Hermione, "You know. There's some details in the story that aren't mentioned in the book."
McKenna stared, "Really?"
Katniss smiled, "Yeah. Like how Prim is actually a decent cook. Stuff that isn't specifically relevant to the story isn't mentioned."
Maddie laughed, "That's awesome."
McKenna looked at the car line and sighed, "My rides here. I'll see you at the beach tomorrow."
McKenna ran to the red corvette at the beginning of the car line. Thalia and her group said their goodbyes, and within five minutes glitched from their view.
Chapter L
Ali was relaxing by her locker, talking to Tonks about what color would look best in her hair, when she was approached by a grave-looking George.
"Ali. I need to talk to you."
Ali laughed, "Whatever for, my fine, little friend?"
George rolled his eyes, "This is serious, Ali. Bigger than us."
Ali coughed, "OMG. Did you get a C on the science test? I've been waiting for this for years!"
George sighed, "Ali, it's me." Ali frowned, "What's you?" "Percy."
Ali's eyes widened in realization. The hallway glitched for a moment. When it stopped, Hazel smiled at the brown hair boy standing behind George, "Hey Percy. Nice to see you again."
Percy laughed, "Always a pleasure. You got a hit on anyone else?"
"Frank."
"Awesome."
As they spoke, Lucas had walked up to them, "Ali. I need to talk to you. It's important."
Ali laughed, leaning back on the wall, "Talk away, my dear amigo."
Lucas turned to George, "It's a private thing."
Ali snorted, "Trust me. Anything you say will be something he already knows."
Lucas leaned closer to Ali, trying to keep George from hearing him, and drastically failing, "Frank."
The hallway glitched once again until there were characters standing behind Lucas as well. Frank smiled, "Hey Hazel. Percy."
They answered in unison, "Hey Frank."
Lucas stared at Percy, and then at George. Ali laughed, "Told ya. Now! Let's go find us some escapees."
