YOUR POV
Racing down the hallways in heels was not the best idea.
With my history of clumsiness I knew this was just a disaster waiting to happen.
Turning the corner, I ran right into someone.
My head hit someone's chest, and as I stumbled back, a strong pair of hands grabbed at my wrists, saving me.
"Whoa there," he chuckled. "Why you in such a hurry?"
I stepped back, standing up straight and was met with sparkling hazel eyes.
He grinned at me, his smile so bright and his dimples so deep.
He was beautiful.
"A have to get to a meeting. I'm sorry, I'm late," I rushed.
I tried to walk past him, but he grabbed my wrist again, halting my movements.
"Daisy right?" he asked, holding out his hand for me to shake.
I took it and shook his hand.
"Yes. How did you know?" I asked.
"I know every person in here. And you are clearly new. You have that whole scared, nervous, confused look going on," he chuckled.
"That obvious huh," I laughed.
He nodded.
"I'm Ashton by the way. Mr Hood asked me to show you around. So how about lunch?" he said.
Mr Hood had really assigned me a lunch buddie?
Did he not think I was capable of looking around myself?
"Is that a yes?" he asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I blinked and looked back at him.
"Oh sorry. Yes sure that sounds great," I agreed.
He smiled and moved to the cubicle beside mine.
"I guess we're neighbours," I acknowledged.
He winked as he tapped at his computer.
"I'm the best cubicle neighbour. Ask anyone," he said, proudly.
"He's the worst. Don't believe his lies," a blonde said as he passed by.
"Don't kid yourself Luke. I'm the best," Ashton scoffed.
Luke laughed as he walked away.
"That's Luke. He's like the boss mans henchman. You have to get past Mr Hemmings to reach Mr Hood," Ashton informed me.
"Does everyone call each other Mr and Miss?" I inquired.
"No. Just the boss man. He does use first names but he prefers the whole Mr or Miss," he shrugged.
This was going to take some getting used to.
In my old office, everyone was friendly and on first name basis, even the boss Elaine.
I sighed as I turned the computer on.
This place as so different from my last and I knew I'd struggle in my first few weeks.
At least I had a familiar face now and a friend in Ashton.
He seemed like a pretty cool guy.

CALUMS POV
I dropped my gym bag on the bench in the locker rooms and stripped.
Standing in only my boxers, I considered just working out in these.
But immediately decided against it and pulled on my sweatpants and trainers.
I left the locker room and went straight for the mats, and began my push ups.
My feelings were at an all time high, crazier than they ever had been.
I usually had one feeling; anger.
And that was always aimed towards Michael.
That guy rubbed me up the wrong way and the amount of times I had been so close to punching him straight in the face was unreal.
I concentrated my full attention on my push ups and getting rid of the negative energy surrounding me.
I had already sorted out my differences with Michael and we had agreed to keep our distance.
I could have fired him ages ago but I had not.
He was good at what he did and I did not think firing him because I hated his guts was fair.
But if he took one step out of line with Daisy he would be out on his ass.

I stepped into the showers and stood under the streaming water.
I turned the temperature down, allowing the cool water to pull me in.
During that whole work out, my mind had been focused solely on the brunette girl.
After our very brief encounter, and brief it was, all I could think about was her.
I could imagine her pink plump lips on mine, moving with a fierce kind of hunger.
I could imagine her hands roaming over my body, touching every inch and leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake.
I could even imagine how she would feel with me inside of her.
I knew she would be a heaven I would not want to leave.
She was different and she was a sweet torture that I did not need.
I squeezed the shampoo into my hair and massaged it into my hair.
The cold water calmed down my raging hormones and the blood down south moved back up north.
I let out a sigh of relief as I stood back and rinsed off the shampoo.
She was getting under my skin and I could not let that happen.
I had to keep my distance from her.
Ashton would have to do my work and keep an eye on her in the office.
Luke could continue outside and keep me up to date on her movements.
I would feel more at ease if I did this, more relaxing and concentrated.
I turned off the faucet and stepped out, wrapping a towel around my waist.
I had reports to read through and a meeting in half an hour.
All thoughts of Daisy had to be subsided.
For now.
