LUKES POV
The hours had ticked by whilst I'd watched outside the pub and still neither had exited.
I'd been keeping Calum updated and he'd said he wouldn't sleep until she was home safe.
I promised him I wouldn't let either of them out of sight and I would wait until they left.
As the clocks neared 2am, I decided to text Calum again.
I didn't really want to stay out here all night.
I needed my sleep too.

She entered a bar near her apartment at 8:30. She has not come out sinceFrom: Mr Hood
Which bar? Did you see the name of the bar? And who did she go in with?I still hadn't told him that Michael was her little date tonight because I didn't know how he'd take it.
But I was starting to worry about her safety too and thought he had a right to know.
I'd told him before that I hadn't seen who she went in with.
But I would tell him that each hour I'd gone in to check on them, I'd finally see who it was.
From: Luke
The name of the pub is The Rover. She went on with a dark haired man. After checking in again ten minutes ago I realised it was Michael. She looked really drunk and he kept touching her thigh.I knew what his next message would be.
He wouldn't come down here himself because he didn't want her to see him angry.
He didn't want her to see that side of him and he didn't want to scare her.
He loved her too much.
From: Mr Hood
Fuck!! Go in there immediately and bring her out. Take her home. Do not speak to him or tell her what you are doing. Just get her out and home, far away from himI stepped out of the car as I replied.

NotedMy one word reply was enough for him as he sent back his thanks.
I shoved my phone deep in my pocket and marched into the pub.
I made a beeline for the pair of them and stopped in front of them.
"Get your coat. You're leaving," I said, simply but sternly.
She looked up at me with hazy eyes and laughed hysterically.
"You can't tell me what to do," she slurred, wobbling in his seat.
"I can and I will. If you don't come with me, I'll be forced to drag you out," I warned her.
Michael stood them and stumbled towards me.
He poked me in the chest with his forefinger.
"Lay the fuck off, pal," he spat.
I grabbed his arm and twisted it, pinning it behind his back until he cried out.
"Touch me again and I will rip your fucking arm of your body," I seethed, pushing him back.
I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up, and she yelled at me to get off.
"Don't make a scene Daisy," I huffed, as I pulled her along beside me.
"You can't do this," she yelled, trying to unwrap my fingers from her small wrists.
"I can Daisy. I'm doing this for Calum. But also Ashton and myself," I informed her.
She scoffed as she stopped trying to escape, knowing she wouldn't win.
"We just want to protect you," I told her.
"Ugh," she screamed, stamping her foot. "Would you all stop fucking saying that."
I wanted to tell her all about Michael's lies but I knew that was Calum's job.
I just had to get her back to her apartment and then I could go home.
This whole thing was like a crazy movie and I couldn't wait for it to end.
"I'm just doing a favour for a friend," I explained as we reached the car.
She rolled her eyes at me as she pulled free from my grasp and climbed into the car without complaint.
At least she was making this easy.
She sat with her arms crossed over her chest, staring out of the window and not speaking.
I left her to her own devices.

When we arrived at the apartment, I helped her inside.
I put her into her bed, taking of her shoes but leaving her clothes on.
I gave her a couple of glasses of water and made sure she ate a quick sandwich before she went to sleep.
I left a bucket by her bed in case she vomited, and left large bottle of water by her bed.
I left a couple of paracetamol on her bedside table and wrote her a little note for the morning.
I then left and went home.
What a crazy night I had just witnessed.

YOUR POV
* The next day *
I woke up and didn't even realise what time it was.
My mouth was so dry from the amount of alcohol I had consumed.
My head was banging and I felt sick.
I smacked my lips together, trying to wet them and get rid of the dryness.
Nothing was helping.
I pushed myself up, leaning on my elbows and cradled my head in my palm.
I groaned as I reached for my phone and checked the time.
The bright screen made my head throb and I hissed.
11:30.
Shit!
Oh my god I'm late for work.
I jumped out of the bed, groaning as I stood too quickly and got a head rush.
The room was spinning and it was only when I reached for my phone that I saw the note.
I picked up the small piece of paper and read the note.
Daisy,
If you don't remember, I brought you home last night. I made sure you got into bed and had some water, so you wouldn't have a hangover. I hope it helped. I also left some painkillers by your bed. I turned off your alarm. Mr Hood has given you the day off, so don't worry about being late, as I know you will be. See you tomorrow.
Luke
Flashbacks of the night before came back like lightening and I remembered what had happened.
Calum had sent his henchman to come drag me out of a pub.
How dare he do that?!
I burned with anger but I didn't have the energy to act upon it.
If I didn't have the worst hangover ever, I would charge down to that building and march into his office.
I would demand he explain himself and tell him that in future he leaves me the fuck alone.
But I couldn't do that right now.
So I had to settle for waiting until tomorrow.
My impatience would get the better of me and I would be fuming tomorrow.
Good, he could feel the backlash of my impatience and the full force of my anger.
