Ghost Story

(Alright, we are getting INTO IT! Now to learn about Morro's story.)

To think we were supposed to be passing out fliers today and now we are trying to escape a vengeful ghost that is the Master of Wind and Wu's first student. And Lloyd is currently under possession of said ghost. WONDERFUL. (I feel like she's being sarcastic.) The guys and I change into our ninja Gis as we prepare for Morro to arrive on his Elemental Dragon. We equip swords too for protection. Well, for the guys mainly I still have powers. We all have our hoods on as we stand together in the bridge while Nya pilots the Bounty. "Take positions." Wu says, the guys moving and I hop onto the deck and Morro then appears as he flies around the Bounty. "Ah, I give you this much. That ninja never quits." I hear Cole say. (He's stubborn. 😤) The dragon roars then breathes something at us. "Port side!" Zane shouts and we all hold on as we narrowly avoid it.

I look back at him as he dives down at us and Jay then fires at him with the cannons, but Morro dodges them and has his dragon fire again. I stay on my feet and stand my ground as Jay slides to be behind me. "Aah! Let me get this straight. You're just telling us now that you had another pupil before us, and now his cursed spirit has possessed Lloyd, all so that he can take your staff?!?" Jay asks Wu. I turn around to face Wu as well, "Morro won't stop until he gets what he's after. There's a secret message engraved on it. All these years, I had no idea." Wu explains. "But somehow, Morro found out about it." I state. "Of course. Ha, just another day in Ninjago." Jay says, I can hear the stress in his voice.

But then a roar is heard and I look to see Morro and his dragon right next to the Bounty. "If this is as fast as the Bounty goes, I think we're in for some serious trouble." Cole says. (Ya think?!?) Morro then flies up and rides upside-down. Okay, now he's just showing off. The dragon disappears as Morro lands on the Bounty then he summons two swords. "I need ink and parchment to make an imprint to see what's on the staff." Wu says. "Kai, (Y/N) and I will take you to our quarters, while Jay and Cole will keep him busy." Zane says. He, Kai, Wu and I quickly head to the quarters. "Oh, that's honorable of you to nominate us." "Yeah, we didn't fair so hot last time. Why is it you get off with the easy task?" Cole and Jay say. "Because I'm the intelligent one." Zane responds. I look at them, "And we need time. Buy us some!" I tell them then hop down.

We make our ways down hurriedly through the halls but then the ships suddenly turns and we end up falling onto the right wall. I gasp as I look to the left to see Morro at the end of the hall. We all stand up, "Our quarters aren't much further. Go, Sensei. Kai and I will hold him back. (Y/N)!" I look at Zane, "Keep Sensei safe." He says. I look back at Morro then back at Zane and nod my head. Wu and I run and land on the floor as the ship rights itself. We soon make it to the quarters but then the ship moves and I quickly summon my powers as I make a whip and wrap it around Wu as I grab onto the door. I open it and whip Wu in there, I make it disappear then swing into the room.

Due to the ship moving, the furniture is too. I run over to the desk and open the drawers until I found the ink. "Got the ink!" I shout. "Throw it on the wall!" He orders. (Okay!) I don't question it and throw it. It shatters and the ink splatters in the wall. He hurries over and presses the staff on the wall and rolls it along the it, all that the message has are three symbols. "Aah!" I yell as I fall back. I roll then dig my hands into the ground then feel myself go weightless for a moment, "Duah!" I grunt as I fall on the ground. "We have the message!" I look up and he tosses the staff at me.

I then run to where Morro is while also not trying to let the ship's crazy flying stop me. I hear Kai scream and see him hold on for his life as he is in a hole. Morro blows wind at him and I make a dagger with my powers and toss it at him. It nicks his sleeve and he looks back at me. "You want the staff, GO GET IT." I tell him. (😠) Then toss the staff and it falls through the hole and Morro goes after it but Kai lets go. Idiot! I run over and slide on the floor, managing to grab his hand in time. "You can be an idiot! You know that!" I shout at him, angry at him for letting go but mostly relieve that I caught him.
