The Last Resort

So, this is what it's like being inside the Sword of Souls. It's a lot more peaceful than I thought. Though, it does have that effect which makes you sleepy. And these green crystals that attach to you are kind of pretty. I look around to see the others. I move to where Kai and Zane are, grabbing Kai's shoulder while resting a hand on Zane's face. They are physically unharmed and I feel with my powers that they are in a deep sleep. I let them go and move to Wu, adjusting his hat and smile knowing he's okay. Then move to where Misako is grab her arms, moving to where Lloyd is and let her go so they can be close to each other for a bit.

Finally, I float over to Cole and take his face into my hands. He is asleep and yet he is troubled. He wants to help stop Nadakhan and protect Nya and Jay. I smile from that, such a big heart he has. (Indeed, he does~ 🥰💞) One of the things I love most about him. Taking his hand, we float together and I close my eyes to wait for when we get out of here. But my powers act up... "Huh?" (Eh?)

Third Person P.O.V.

In Ninjago City, the night is not peaceful as an explosion happens in the streets. The two detectives gasp as a police car flies at them and lands, but it is held by two others and they crawl out. "Where are they? I don't see them." The glasses man says. "Don't freak out on me now, partner. We have to protect the girl." The stubble-face man states. Two pirates are lowered down by ropes and grabs them, but they yell and land on the ground. Two NPF members appear and hold their blasters at them.

They glare and hovering is heard as they look up to see a shop above the clouds. "Run!" The stubble-face man shouts as he and the officers run into the police department. (MOVE IT! 🏃‍♀️) One of the NPF members holds a hand his ear to press the coms, "We have confirmed visuals. Send in the Air Squad!" He informs. He and his partner run right as another explosion fires off and scatters cars. They shut the door as some officers and the detective barricades the door. "They're here. Get those two out of here." He tells the Commissioner. The other member of the NPF holds a hand to his ear as they receive a message, "The Air Squad has arrived. They'll provide a distraction, but not for long." He states. "Right." The Commissioner says then walks off.

He opens the door of where Nya and Jay have been in. "We can't defend you any longer. Did you find a safe house?" He asks them. "Yeah, it's-" "No, no, no, don't-don't tell me. No one can know but you." He stops Jay from telling him. (No one. 🤫) He opens a hatch on the floor. "Listen, Jay, if Nadakhan finds and marries Nya, he'll have infinite wishes. Protect her." The Commissioner tells Jay. "I promise to, with my life." Jay declares. "I appreciate the macho sentiment, but may I remind you that I can look after my..." Nya is interrupted as fighting is heard and two officers land on their backs in the hallway. "Hold him, Rick!" "I'm holding him, Rich!" The twin NPF members shout. (No time. GO!)

"There isn't any time. Go, Ninja. Go." The Commissioner says, the two hopping into the passage and he closes it. He hurries over to the map on the wall and rips it off it. Rick and Rich fall unconscious as Nadakhan enters the room. "And what do you think you're doing?" He asks. "You're too late, Nadakhan." The Commissioner tells him. He burps, "Ugh, that was a big map." He says. (Seriously?)

"Hey, look." Flintlocke notices something on the ground, he opens the secret hatch. "They got away, Captain." He informs. The Commissioner burps again, "You'll never find them." He tells Nadakhan. "Oh, I have my ways." The Djinn states. "Take him prisoner! Take them all! And find me that girl!" He orders. The Commissioner whimpers with fear, but Rick, who had awoken, points a camera at them and it is being played at NPF headquarters.

Phoebe watches it on the giant screen in her office. "Keep watch of the pirates. And be sure to inform me if they fail or succeed." She orders. "Yes, Admiral." Martin holds his hand up to his head in a salute. (🫡) He then takes out a tablet and activates the drones.
