Brothers Reuniting

(Okay, people. Here is another original chapter. I hope I did well with it. Enjoy.)

Sometimes, life really can work in the STRANGEST ways. Like how Clouse ended up being found, chased and soon arrested. He is now kept under constant surveillance at Kryptarium Prison. Also, Nya and Jay are now together, that whole adventure that happened but also didn't happen did wonders for both of them. Though, the rest of the gang and all of Ninjago do not remember what happened. Some Deja Vu but other than that they are none the wiser. And while I'm glad that knockoff genie is never getting out, there is one person that deserves their freedom. (And who is that someone~?)

"What are you doing?" "GAH!!" I jump and turn around only to find Cole with his hands up in a surrender, "Whoa! Sorry. Didn't mean to scare ya." He says. I sigh, "The one time my powers don't let me feel someone coming." I groan out, rubbing my forehead. "Uh, A-hem!" Removing my hand to look at Cole as he gives me a cute and curious frown. "So, what are you doing up so early?" He asks. "Not that you waking up early is weird, but usually it's when the sun has been up for at least half an hour." He stands beside me. (He pays attention. Cute. ☺️) Right, it's before dawn. Honestly, I didn't get that much sleep, but Cole doesn't have to know that. "Didn't sleep much?" Darn his observation skills. I rest my arms on the railings of the Bounty and look out at the horizon right as the sky shifts, the stars disappearing as the sun rises.

I take a deep breath, "Actually, there is something." I start. "What is it?" I feel Cole right next time. I move my hand to grip my arm, "You know how we were going to Stiix to capture Clouse but he ended getting caught by the NPF?" I start. "Yeah. Heh. I heard some of them locals gave him a good scare. You think as a ghost he should be the one scaring." He says. I smirk from that, "Like how you are strongest but also the softest of us?" I face him and he sputters, "What?! You need to get your eyes checked. Have you seen these cannons?" He flexes an arm and even if he is partially transparent, those muscles are something.

I giggle, "I have seen you shirtless, Cole. But that still doesn't change the fact that you have a big heart." I tell him. (True that.) He faces away from me and scratches his head, "Well, I would say you're wrong, but that is very rare." He says. "You're darn right, it is." I respond. We stand together and watch the sunrise. Huh, it's like a new chapter has started. "So," I look at Cole as he leans back on the railing, "Why are you up so early?" He asks. Inhaling deeply, I let out a long sigh. Welp, he has a right to know. "Something happened only it didn't happen and while it is better it didn't, there is one thing that needs to done." I state. "And what's that?" He asks.

I look at him and see him giving me an attentive face. I move my hand to grab his and while I can grab it, I look down to see his hand but not really feel it. I frown, remembering his warmth. "Brr!" I shake my head and pull my hand back. No! This is about someone else. "I think it be better to explain later." I tell him. My powers flare up, feeling Cole's sadness but alps acceptance. "Okay. Send a message if you need help." He says. I give him a smile, "I will." I tell him. Jumping off the Bounty and summon my Elemental Dragon, I do a look around the ship and feel Cole's elation. I steady my dragon's flying and fly off in the direction of... the lighthouse. (Off we go!)

Third Person P.O.V.

In the lighthouse, the sun provides light for the inside as Tea Bot rolls around and cleans up the dust on the floor. They suddenly twitch as sparks fly out from their neck. Someone walks her and gently takes the dustpan and broom from them, set them aside and pick them up. He places them on the table and takes out a screwdriver, turns a few screws and Tea Bot stops twitching as they beep in appreciation.

Echo Zane smiles at seeing his friend then looks out the window. He walks over and rests his hands on the sill, looking out into the horizon. While he was sad to be left behind, he knew just how much his father loved his first son. Though he is trapped here, he still has one friend in Tea Bot. And his father got his wish granted, so he is happy. (HE'S TOO PRECIOUS!!) He stares out into the sky, "Huh?" But tilt his head at seeing something. A purple blue becoming bigger and takes shape in the form of a beast he has only read about. Echo Zane steps back and Tea Bot beeps which makes the rusted nindroid look down at him and pick him up.
