Spellbound

So, the night was not so great. I pretty much had to knock myself out to get some sleep. And if Chen's theatrics aren't ludicrous enough, I was wrong. The guys, Garmadon and I are in a blimp with the other remaining Elemental Masters. The guys and I even got new Gis, full body uniforms with some leather gear to act as armor along with hoods too.

After the whole finding-out-who-the-spy-is fiasco yesterday, tension has become thick. I can feel it suffocating me. "What are you looking at, Zippy?" I blink out of my thoughts. "The next one out of the tournament." "Uh, heh." I sigh at Jay and Griffin's talk. If you can call it that. Also, Jay had his leg bandaged because I could only heal it partially. "Why so scared, Shadow? Worried we'd find something other than a tattoo?" Kai bites at Shade. "I hope this next fight is between you and me because I'm gonna put you on your back." Shade bites back. I sigh heavily and massage my head to keep myself calm. I pray Cole is doing better than us right now. I hear a wolf whistle. "Do you mind?" And hear Skylor snip. "Tensions are high." Garmadon says. That they are, master. (To put it lightly. 😒) "Yeah, not as high as we are now." Lloyd says. I look back and out the window behind me as I see how the island could fit in my palm from this distance. "Can hardly see the island from up here." Lloyd says. "And I bet you Chen has got something exciting in mind." I comment. I feel fear and look at Neuro as he walks by me. "I've had enough of this. I can't stand heights. Where's Chen?" He says, walking to the front room. I stand up and follow him. He opens the door, but there is no one at the controls. (I don't really have a fear of heights, but I can understand that it is scary to be real high up. So I send all my support and comfort to those afraid of heights.)

The screen flickers on to reveal Chen. "How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh, oh, I see, the light. Oh, oh! I'm on." I roll my eyes and walk closer to the screen with Neuro. I feel everyone else behind us to watch. "Right now? Ahem, ahem. Hello, final nine. I see you are all eager for the tournament to commence so one of you can win my Staff of Elements. Instead of fighting for a Jade Blade, today you will be fighting for something different." He says, pressing a button and showing footage of the island, the camera zooming in on, "Nya." She was in her Samurai X uniform and then ran off after seeing the camera. "You know her?" "It's my sister." Kai tells Skylor. "We have an uninvited guest on the island." Chen says. "And she must be holding the proof that will stop Chen." I hear Kai say.

"Find her and you will automatically move on-" "The spell he plans to use when he takes our powers. "-to the final round!" "He wants us all to hunt her down? She won't stand a chance." "Then we have to find her before anyone else does." Agree, Lloyd. I put on my hood. "In 10 seconds the bottom will drop." Wait... WHAT?!? (Yeah, WHAT?!?) But to show you I'm not a bad man, I've given nine parachutes." I hear something and turn around to find parachutes deployed. Wait... Nine parachutes... but ten people on this blimp... The floor is opening... THE FLOOR IS OPENING!!! Everyone screams as we all hurry to grab a chute. "Sensei Garmadon is there? Shoot, that makes ten. Oh, well, I was never good at math. Toodle-loo." I growl loudly. "They guy's love for trap doors is seriously getting on my nerves!" I hear Lloyd exclaims.

The floor opens more and I see the crazy height we would all soon drop from. "CHEN! YOU ARE THE WORST. HOST. EVER!!!!" I shout, right as we all fall. (She mad.) I look around to see everyone move to grab the parachutes. I see the guys and make my way to them. "Lloyd, use your energy dragon!" Jay shouts to Lloyd as fall with them. "I can't! I can't get it to work!" "Yes, you can! You need to focus!" I shout at him. "I'm trying! But it's hard to when I'm currently falling to my death!" "Then grab a chute!" I look around to find a chute then see one and reach out to grab it. I grab it and quickly put it on, pull the string and the chute opens. I pant from the whole thing and look down to see Lloyd falling but also Garmadon. "Crap." I curse, remembering there are only nine chutes.
