The Temple on Haunted Hill

(Alright, people! Time to face some fear!)

Okay, I had to check on the others and already I can tell that Ronin is being an annoyance to Misako, Wu and Nya. But I see that the cyan color around Nya became a little bigger for a moment. It also has something else... Adaptable, formidable, fluid... Wait. NOPE! Think about it later. (Got more important things to do at the moment.)

It is now daytime, the guys and I join a tour group as we arrive to Yang's Haunted Temple. I had its windows boarded up with it also covered in dirt. "Welcome to Yang's Haunted Temple, the historical land make and former home of Sensei Yang, the notorious sensei without a pupil," The tour guide woman says as I look at the decrepit statue of said sensei, "infamous for creating the lost martial art of Airjitzu. Unfortunately, we can't take our tour groups inside, for rumors say anyone trapped inside its walls at sunrise, will be turned into a ghost permanently." The lady informs, and the group oohs from it. "But if you listen closely, maybe we'll be able to hear the ghost of Sensei Yang himself, looking for his lost pupils." She says. (Why do I have a feeling he's not?) I look at the temple and my powers flare up as I feel a lot of disturbed energies in it.

"I HOPE ITS NOT A RUMOR, FOR ITS OUR ONLY HOPE!" I flinch and cover my left ear. (Ow! 😣) "Ah, sorry about my loud friend, he's a little hard of hearing." Cole apologizes. Yeah, Zane may not speak backwards anymore, but now his decibel level is stuck at high. As in he can only talk in all CAPS. "Known for his un-Ahem-usual teaching methods." The lady continues as she leads the group while the guys and I stay behind. "I thought you said you fixed him?" Kai asks Jay. "At least he's no longer talking backwards." Jay retaliates. I rub my ear a little before lowering my hand. "Yeah, but now we are at risk of going deaf every time he speaks." I snip. "I guess my tinkering got his volume level stuck. Heh, heh." He laughs nervously.

"AT LEAST YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME NOW!" I flinch again from Zane's shouting. "Yes, we can." I agree with him. "Well, from now on, only speak when you have something really important to say." Cole tells him. "Who put you in charge?" Kai asks him. "I did. After you guys mucked it up, it's my turn to be in charge. And, like me, I like my plans simple. We sneak in, learn Airjitzu from the Ghost of Sensei Yang, then get out before sun up." Cole states. (Easier said then done, Cole. 😒) I look back a the temple and feel uneasy from the energy emitting from it. "Since Morro already knows Airjitzu, we just have to hope he hasn't figured out the next clue." Kai says. I look at him and nod my head, "We only have one shot. Let's make it count." I state.

"Well, the sun is setting, which means we should head back to the bus. Wouldn't want anyone to turn into a ghost." The lady says then laughs and everyone else joins in. I look back at the temple. "Once night hits, we make our move." I hear Cole say. I narrow my eyes. Soon we will know Airjitzu and get closer to saving Lloyd.

Third Person P.O.V.

The sun sets and night begins. The Ninja appear from behind Yang's statue then make their way to the temple. Cole and Jay pull at the boards on a window. (Y/N) and Zane share a look then the nindroid grabs a hand to one the doors and opens it. Kai enters with Zane following after him. "Care to join?" (Y/N) says to Jay and Cole. "Oh. Ha, ha." Jays laughs embarrassed then enters the temple. Cole walks over and (Y/N) holds her hands out for him to walk. He smiles under his hood then walks and (Y/N) follows him. She stops them and grabs the door to close it, but stops as she hesitates for a moment. She shakes her head, "No turning back." She closes the door and it locks upon fully closing. She lets go of the handle then joins with the guys. (And so it begins~)

Elsewhere in a cave, Morro stands by a green fire as he holds the staff in his hands. "The second symbol." He says, dropping the staff and rolls it across white powder. The symbols imprint in it and Morro looks closely at the second symbol. A sword with its tip surrounded by some wavy lines. "Can any of you decipher it? There was a reason why brought you three out." Morro says to Soul Archer and two other ghosts he summoned. "I can, but you'll need more than Airjitzu to get there." A female ghost wielding a double-edged bade says as she flies over to Morro.
