Grave Danger

Things have been difficult. Betrayal, hardship, and almost getting blown up in a fiery blaze of inferno. We are finally making our way to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. Good thing Rex is waterproof. I look at the water around us. Never thought I would be in the Endless Sea. But then again, it is pretty and it is mysterious. "We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Zane says. "Can't believe we're almost there, after all we've been through." Cole says. I sigh, "Yeah. Spent the night in a haunted temple, went to another realm and almost got blown up. I'd say we deserve this." I state. Cole chuckles and I smile from hearing that. (Yeah, big time. IT'S BEEN GRUELING. 😫)

"I can't believe I'm underwater." Kai says. Oh, right. His water phobia. "You? what about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole says as he knocks on the front window. "Thick. Trust me. It took a bit of reckless driving in order to put a dent in this thing." I answer. I hear Jay laugh and look at him. "I still can't believe you took Ronin's airship on a joy ride. Ha-Ha!" He laughs. (Yeah, and that she sprayed hot sauce in his eye under his patch.) I roll my eyes and shake my head. He is never gonna let that go. "We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you to find the Realm Crystal before he does." Wu says as the screen shows him.

"Heh, Cole's a ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or elemental powers and (Y/N) is being more emotional than usual that makes her incapable of using her powers. Heh-heh-heh, what could go wrong?" Jay says nervously. I would hit him for commenting on my emotional state, but I don't care right now. You are spared this time, Jay. "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that refers to it that may help:" Misako says as she walks up to the camera and unrolls a scroll. ("May"? I think will is what we are looking for.)

"A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master can not. To move forward don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." She reads. "Huh. That's food for thought." Cole comments. "It's all we've got." I state. Jay gulps and l look at him as he looks up. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!" He shouts. I gasp and feel my powers flare up to feel something big and hungry coming towards us. We all look back to see a leviathan. But it's not the one Zane and I free. Man, those things are huge. "We have to go faster. Much faster." Kai states. Cole takes the wheel and makes Rex go faster.

However, the leviathan hits a window and it cracks. Crap. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" Kai asks. "Less complaining." I tell him. "And more escaping!" I tell Cole. (Yes, Ma'am! 🫡) "Hold on!" He exclaims and we all hold on as he makes a turn but the leviathan is still after us. "Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay says, the alarms start blaring and I hold up a hand to my ear. I hate alarms. So loud! "We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!" Zane orders. "On it." Cole drives Rex to a rock and we go under an arch. I look back and see the leviathan try and go through it, but it got stuck.

I breathe in relief while the guys cheer. "Thattaboy, Rex, thattaboy!" Jay thanks Rex. I smile and giggle, "Jay, Rex is a girl." I tell him. "Oh." He says. "Thattagirl." He corrects. I roll my eyes, but playfully this time. (Don't at me. I thought it would be funny. Then again, have ever heard of a vehicle being a dude? 🤨)

We soon enter a large cavern and Rex goes up and surfaces in an area very spacious. We made it. Rex opens up and we hop out of her and onto dry land. "If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place. We're here." Cole says. My eyes land on an old statue. It resembles Wu what with the long beard and straw hat, but this is not him. It can only be... "Aaargh!" I jump and look over at Jay, "There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place." He says. I walk over to the group and look to see he has a torn up green piece of cloth. Yep. Morro's here. "Hey, stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. Feel lucky we got this far." Kai states to try and calm Jay. Key word: Try.
