[Add's Point of View]

Luto. Tch, how I hated him so! No matter the obstacle, I had to find Ara again. I had to! He told me that I had to "look into the future", and I took that quite literally. This wasn't the time for mind-games!
"Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of my 'eternal punishment'?" I had asked, rolling my eyes. "Have you forgotten already? The only reason why I was caught into this mess was because of my abuse of resetting timelines. So why would you grant me authority to travel into the future?"
He'd answer with his ancient, cold-hearted chuckle. "Mirth, jest, and none less than entertainment, young lad! I have the preeminent power to do whatever I wish!"
"How are you going to deal with the future 'copies' of myself and Ara?" I had inquired once more, failing to believe in his bullcrap just yet.
"Ah, yes, I have already planned a step ahead. You may proceed on without worry. You might as well follow my hints; I have sealed off the portals to the other universes and dimensions temporarily due to the previous incident involving the Yama Raja and Mastermind, so there is no use searching there. I do swear, on my dark, evil soul, that your loved one lies within the future. Now, go! Dismiss!" he replied.
And that was exactly how I ended up in Elder, in the supposed "future". What was my fate? What was my destiny? I felt like a mere puppet because of damned Luto, he held the strings and was in control of everything.
...
I was wandering about, taking note of my surroundings. Elder Village didn't change very much, and if anything, it simply brought unpleasant memories of my past, involving Nasod research and the foolish dictator otherwise known as Wally. Tsk! Was there a specific reason why I landed in this hamlet?
An adolescent boy bumped into me as I was walking, as he calmly apologized afterwards.
I analyzed him, along with the girl that was positioned beside. Both of them awkwardly stood there in silence. I noticed that the boy had very similar features to me, and the girl almost seemed like a younger version of Ara, apart from her purple colour scheme, which matched my own. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I finally responded to the boy's apology a while later. "It's fine."
"Um, excuse me, Sir! May I get your name?" the female spoke.
Thinking about it, there was no harm in sharing such information. "Add."
The two children immediately turned their heads to each other, their eyes enlarged. Soon, they faced me once again.
It was time for the male to interrogate. "Are you part of the Haan family by any chance?"
I wasn't sure how to respond. Yes, and no? Ara and I weren't married. Or at least, not in the normal world we weren't.
"Perhaps."
"What's the name of your... err, wife?" he queried.
"Why do you want to know?" I shot a glare at him, for experimental purposes, of course.
"Is it Ara Haan, by any chance~? Ah, I'm sorry if this is an uncomfortable question!" the female inquired with a smile.
At this point, there was only one plausible speculation. They were...
"Yes." I nodded.
...my children. I hadn't thought of the possibility that there were actually going to be kids in the household. I was surprised, but I tried my best not to show it in my nature.
She lightly scratched her cheek. "Ehehe... you look awfully young to be our father."
"Tch. That's because I came from the past."
"The past? Really?! Amazing!" she grinned brightly. "Well, my name is Amelia Haan, Ame for short. The boy standing beside me is Ace Haan. Nice to meet you, Dad!"
"Kekekeke~ Likewise, Amelia and Ace." I laughed.
In terms of personalities, Ace was like me, and Amelia was like Ara. Like father, like son; like mother, like daughter, I suppose. Miniature versions of Ara and myself.
I was bubbling with curiosity. Maybe they had a lead, a lead regarding my girlfriend's whereabouts.
