(adj) - "Tangi" itself can mean "special" or "unique," and when used in the form "tinatangi," it refers to someone who is held in high regard or has a special place in one's life.

Orm carried her regrets like a collection of mismatched souvenirs. She has done a lot of things she regrets and it littered in her memory like her brother’s Pokemon card collection. She's one to either rush everything all at one due to her impatience or would dawdle just because she's afraid to put her hands and try new things in life.
A prime example of that is her “She Bangs Crisis.” When the Pandemic hits and almost everything halted, she only has her phone for entertainment and Uni since no one's allowed to go out. She got bored planting plants already and her shoulders almost sore from the amount of time she tried making dalgona coffee so as a reasonable being, she thought, what's stopping her from trying a new hairstyle?
What's better than to have bangs, right?
So she grabbed her scissors.. faced the mirror and as a precaution, took time to measure using her fingers the length of hair she needed to cut off- it ended as a nightmare and her not posting any selfies for quite a while.
Or how about that “Great Emergency Bell Debacle’’?
She doesn't know what prompts her but she truly believes that the Emergency bell littered around their school was just useless and doesn't even work. So as someone who couldn't sleep until she satisfies her curiosity and as a scientist at heart who’s eager to prove her theory right, She pressed it one fine afternoon where everyone is busy reviewing for a midterm exam- the whole student population finds themselves in the middle of the field (the designated evacuation center) wondering whats the catastrophe but found no fire nor felt the Earth moving due to earthquake.
Orm ended in a detention for a month and a reputation as the “Girl who cried wolf (But with a Loud, Annoying Bell.”
See, she's like that. Full of life and mishaps but nothing could top the “Ling Incident”.
See, Ling was the sun, and Orm was just a small, slightly scorched planet orbiting it So, when Ling confessed her feelings that day after their history class. Do you know what she did?
She laughed. Yes. She did.
Not a polite chuckle or a nervous giggle, but a full-blown, knee-slapping, tear-inducing cackle that echoed in the otherwise empty hallway. Orm simply couldn’t process it. It was like hearing that gravity had suddenly decided to take a vacation. The sheer absurdity of it all overwhelmed her.
I mean, who would have blamed her? She's been classmates with her ever since she can remember. They basically grow together and she's witness to how girls fell to their knees every time Ling scores a goal or heard them screaming every time Ling pulls up her shirt to wipe the sweat on her face during her football training and warm up. Ling barely speaks but when she does, Orm swears she can feel other girls almost fainting. She guess, some girls dig that way.
And her? She's just basically a muggle in the world of Witches and Wizard. A lone butterbeer in an empty Hogsmeade if you must.
She is just a normal person with intrusive thoughts, a walking embodiment of chaos with a delicate balance between boundless energy and crippling self doubt and a naughtiness that comes second to none. This makes her endearing and disastrous at the same time, she’s a whirlwind of unpredictable fun and occasional facepalm worthy decisions. So how can one imagine The Great Lingling Kwong having feelings for her?
