Kelly's POV
I knew it.
I knew I couldn't keep it together.
I tried to be strong but now I am here crying into Spencer.
I back away from him wiping my eyes.
"Sorry for crying on your suit," I said wiping his chest.
"No no don't be. I should've waited longer to take you back here." He said looking down.
Now he feels bad.
Great.
"Do you want me to help you?" He asked.
I nodded yes and he put the pictures in my suitcase. I grabbed the rest of my jewelry and clothes and closed the cases.
Spencer picked up the heavy one and I took the lighter one.
Spencer's POV
I decided to be a gentleman and take her bag. I was in front of her when we passed her father's room. I quickly spun around and pushed her against the wall so she couldn't see the scene.
She was scared.
I could tell by her face and body language.
"Kelly... keep your eyes on me," I said turning her so her back was against the scene and I walked her down the stairs.
I left her down there and grabbed the suitcases.
We walked outside and I threw her bags in the back and we drove to the office.
Kelly's POV
I wanted to kiss him.
I thought he was going to!
I would have let him too.
While we were driving I asked him a question.
"Why did you push me into the wall?" I said quietly.
He put his hand on his forehead. "I should have been more gentle." He whispered. "I'm sorry if I hurt you."
"No don't worry you didn't but why did you," I said putting a hand on his shoulder.
"To protect you. To protect your memory." He said lightly tapping my forehead.
Then we pulled up to the office.
He carried my suitcases in and I followed.
I went to open the door for him but it was locked.
"Oh um, my keys... they're in my pocket." He said shyly.
I reached into his pocket and he laughed a little bit.
"Are you ticklish?" I said laughing.
"You know tickling is a mind trick if you tell yourself it doesn't tickle it won't tickle." He said fast.
I laughed and opened the door. We walked to his office and set down my stuff.
"You can get ready in the bathroom. You know do whatever you girls do with your hair." He said standing in the doorway.
"Thanks and shouldn't you know? Your hair is fabulous." I said ruffling his hair.
We both laughed and I closed the door.
I didn't grab everything out of my room but I grabbed the most important things.
I pulled out my white lacy dress, cowgirl boots, a brown belt, and a brown handbag.
The outfit I wore to my mom's funeral. I'm surprised I can still fit into it.
I put it all on and then I straightened my hair and put a little eyeliner on.
I was nervous.
I don't know why.
Maybe because your crush has only seen you in raggedy PJs and scrubs.
I want to make a good first impression when I meet everyone though.
So I toughened up and walked out of the bathroom.
I'm glad that no one is here yet.
Then I saw Spencer from across the room.
Spencer's POV
I went to the kitchen to grab some cashews and when I came out I saw Kelly.
She had a beautiful dress that wasn't too fancy but it was classic. The white complimented her blue eyes along with her eyeliner. Not even her boots made her as tall as me but she was cute and petite.
"Kelly... you... you look beautiful." I said stuttering.
"Thank you." She said fluttering her lashes. "I want to make a good... 3rd impression."
I laughed at her comment.
"Well, they should all be here soon. Take a seat, have some cashews." I offered.
She took a handful and smiled at me.
I heard the SUVs pull up.
Then everyone came piling in. Kelly stood up and came over by me.
Emily was the first one to notice her.
"Is this Kelly?" She asked shocked.
I nodded yes.
"You're so brave." She said hugging her. Kelly surprisingly hugged her back.
"Thank you for helping me I'm so grateful." She said. Well, that file wasn't wrong about her being friendly.
Kelly's POV
I'm so excited to meet everyone.
I already met Emily which I have before in the hospital.
Then a tall dark man came up to Spencer.
"Hey, lover boy is this Kelly?" He said smiling.
"Yup sure is." He said.
"I'm Derek Morgan but you can call me Morgan." He said.
"Nice to meet you, Morgan. Thank you so much for helping me." I said happily.
After a while, I have met all of them and they are all super sweet.
The whole time Spencer was acting shy.
"Psst Spencer," I whisper and nudge him with my elbow.
"Yeah?" He responded.
I grabbed his arm and took him to his office.
"Why are you being all shy?" I asked.
Although it was adorable I wanted to know why.
"Oh, he isn't very umm social," Garcia said walking over to us. "Loverboy we need you."
"Ok, I'll be a second." He shouted back. "I'm gonna work on your case. I prefer you to stay here. We might ask you a few questions later though." He said.
"Ok see you later." I wave at him.
When he closed the door I sat down on the couch. I examined his office. Then I saw over by his computer a picture. I walk over there to get a better look. It was a woman. She looked around 60. It might be his mom.
I picked up the picture to examine it better.
Then the door opened.
It was Spencer.
"Kelly since you have nowhere to stay do you want to stay at my apartment with me?" He asked.
"Yeah, that will be fun," I said setting the picture down.
"Alright, we are going home early so let's get your stuff ready." He said.
Tonight is gonna be fun.
