It was already 5 by the time they were done with work. They worked on a different case besides mine so I just chilled in Spencer's office for a while until they were done.
"Do you have everything?" Spencer asked me bucking himself in.
"Yup I triple checked," I said.
"Alright let's go then." He said turning the key to his car.
We drove about 15 minutes and we got to his apartment.
Again, he helped me carry my bags in.
"Ok, my apartment is rather large. There is a spare room that can be yours." Spencer said unlocking the door.
When he opened the door it was super dark in there. All the blinds were closed and the lights were off.
He turned on one of the lights and guided me to my room.
The room was pretty. It has white walls and red and brown accents.
"It's beautiful," I said taking in the scenery.
"Thank you. Make yourself at home." He said.
I got my bags and started unpacking everything into the little dresser he provided.
All there was in the room was a bed, a dresser, a desk, and a side table.
I set my jewelry box and makeup on the desk.
When I was done unpacking I played on my phone.
Spencer's POV
Crap how is she gonna eat. I can't cook whatsoever and I don't really eat much.
I walk to her room and knock on the door.
"Come in." She yelled.
"Hey, Kelly are you doing ok?" I ask friendly.
"Yes, I am. This room is so pretty." She said looking around.
"I'm glad you like it. Um, are you hungry? Do you want to eat?" I ask.
"Um sure whatever you got."
I was afraid she was going to say that.
"I um I don't have much at all. I have cereal occasionally and water." I said shyly.
"Spencer that's horrible. Do you ever eat?" I ask him.
"I normally eat at the office and that's it," I said.
"No no no you need to eat more. You can get sick." She said walking towards me.
I thought for a second.
"How about I take you out to eat?" I asked.
"That sounds great! I'll get ready." She said.
"Aren't you already? You look beautiful." I said.
She blushed a little bit. "Just a little hair touch up." She said winking at me.
Kelly's POV
I need to get this boy to eat.
I feel bad for him if he doesn't eat.
I clipped my bangs out of my face and walked out of my room and saw Spencer sitting on his chair waiting for me. His head was in his hands.
"Spencer are you ok?" I ask softly.
"Oh what. Yeah, let's go." He said standing up.
We walked outside to his car and we drove to Olive Garden.
He opened the car door for me and offered his arm. I linked my arm with his and we walked inside.
Our size difference is ridiculous. He has to be 6 ft and I'm like 5'4.
The lady at the front guided us to a booth.
We sat down and looked at the menu.
"What do you want?" I asked him peeking over my menu.
"Umm, I don't know I have never eaten here before." He said.
"Well, I like salad. I don't know what you would like." I said.
"I'm not picky. Just no seafood." He said.
"You don't like it?" I said.
"No memories." He said simply.
"Do you like salad?" I asked him.
He shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, I do."
"Ok and oh you need to try their breadsticks," I said.
He smiled at me. "Okay."
"May I take your order?" The lady asked.
"Two Cesar salads and an order of breadsticks," I said.
"Ok, we will be back with that soon." She said taking our menus.
"You didn't have to order for me." He said looking down smiling.
"You wanted me to order for you. You said you didn't know what to get." I said.
He let out a little smile.
About 15 minutes later the lady came and gave us our food.
"So tell me about you?" I said picking up a breadstick.
Spencer's POV
"Well I graduated college at the age of 12, I have 3 PhDs, an IQ of 187, eidetic memory, and I can read 20,000 words in one minute," I said.
"That's amazing!" She said fascinated.
"How about you?" I ask her.
"Well, I had straight As. I was smart but not a genius like you. My mom died from a disease that made her interpret reality differently." She said.
"Schizophrenia?" I said.
She looked at up at me.
"My mom has that," I said.
"I'm sorry." She said with a sad look on her face.
"No, I'm sorry for your loss," I said. "How was your childhood?"
"Um pretty good except my mother thing. I had friends and I got good grades. How about you?" She asked.
I knew she would ask about my past.
"It's... it's really bad. I don't think you want to hear it." I said putting a forkful of salad in my mouth.
"No, I want to know." She said setting her hand on mine.
"Ok I'll tell you but let's have this conversation later. At home." I said.
She nodded in understanding.
We sat there and ate our food and not before long we went back to my place.
