Spencer's POV
I woke up and it's only 4 in the morning.
Kelly was next to me laying on my chest.
I gently grabbed her hand and it was freezing.
I remember when I grabbed her hand at the hospital it was cold too.
I carefully took a blanket from the end of the bed and covered her with it.
She then took a part of it and covered me with it.
I looked down at her and kissed her on the forehead.
I wasn't tired anymore so I carefully sat up, trying not to wake Kelly, and put my glasses on and grabbed a book that was on my nightstand.
I read through about half of it and then I heard Kelly say something.
"You read so fast."
I looked down at her and she was awake.
"Our conscious mind can process 16 bits of information per second, our unconscious however can process 11 million."
She was silent for a minute.
"Yea I can read fast. 20,000 words per minute remember?" I said trying to sound normal.
"I remember but I just haven't seen you read." She said smiling.
"Are you still tired? You can go back to sleep." I offered.
"No I'm not anymore." She said sitting up.
I closed my book.
"What do you want to do its 4:30 am." I said looking at my watch.
Then I attempted to turn on the lamp.
"And the powers still out."
She looked around the lightly dimmed room and grabbed matches off the other side table and lit a few candles.
She then sat in front of me.
She took off my glasses and put them on.
She looked so cute with the squared glasses.
"Where did you get that scar?" She said pointing at my arm.
I smiled.
"What?" She said smiling back.
"I fell in the shower a couple of months ago." I started laughing and so did she.
"See you got that 2.2 percent chance and it happened." She said laughing and playfully punching my arm.
"Ow." I said rubbing my arm. "What about that?" I pointed to the side of her head.
"Oh I was pushed into a locker and I hit my head on the handle." She said.
"Oh no that's terrible." I said.
"I have lots of small scars from bullying." I said.
"Oh I also got this." I said rolling up my pj pants up to my knee.
I revealed the scar from surgery from getting shot in the knee.
"Oh my gosh what happened?" She said touching it.
"I was shot in the knee." I said.
"Noo that's terrible." She said.
"Yeah but I'm ok now." I said.
Kelly's POV
I had a lot of energy like I always do when I wake up at this time.
I could hardly see out of these glasses but if he had them on any longer I would have started making out with him.
"Do you want coffee?" Spencer asked me.
"Yes I do." I said.
We both got up and walked to his kitchen.
He started brewing his coffee and I sat on the bar stool.
"So does anything happy happen in your past?" I ask.
"Yes of course. I remember I hit a home run in a baseball game with Morgan. That was exciting." He said smiling.
"Really? I didn't know your the athletic type." I said tilting my head.
"I'm not but I did it! I was pretty proud of myself actually." He said laughing.
He then poured us two cups of coffee.
Then he grabbed the sugar and set it in between us along with creamer.
"I will let you choose what you want." He said smiling.
I put two spoonfuls of sugar and a little splash of creamer. Then I stirred it with a straw and drank it.
"It's really good." I said.
He smiled at me then started putting sugar in his coffee.
1 spoonful.
2 spoonfuls.

"Geez Spencer how much sugar do you put in your coffee?" I ask.
He smiled. "A lot."
I laughed and watched him put 20 billion spoonfuls of sugar in his coffee then stir it.
"Do you like to sing?" He asked me sipping his coffee.
"I do but I haven't in front of anyone except once my dad heard me." I said. "Why?"
He looked at a room down the hall and grabbed my hand.
"Come on I want to do something with you." He said.
"Wait." I said and he let go of my hand.
I took one more sip of coffee and grabbed his hand.
"Ok let's go."
