After 2 beers and a whole tray of room service fruit, I heard a rhythmic knock on my door.
I pulled it open revealing the small girl with tattoos and gorgeous hair.
She smirked at me and I was starting to realise that was just her smile; it was naturally flirtatious.
"Oh hi!" I said surprised by her appearance at my door.
"Hello, Calum Hood." She grinned up at me.
"How do you know my last name?" I giggled
"I googled your band last night. Can I come in?" She said as she walked passed me into my slightly messy room that I would've cleaned spotless had I known she was coming.
"So you googled us?" I spoke nervously. God knows what kind of embarrassing old pictures she saw of the band.
She sat herself on the couch right in the middle."Yep looks like you were telling the truth; you are indeed a bass player."
She placed her hands on her knees."I am." I smirked back
"So your guitarist..." she started
"Michael?"
"Is that the blonde one?"
Oh god. I thought. She's seen Luke.
"No that would be Luke." I glanced down."Right." She stared at me with a smirk.
"Do you think he's hot or something? It's ok everyone does." I giggled still hoping she would say no.
"He's definitely cute, but I think my favorite member of 5sos is the bassist, Calum Hood." She grinned at me.
She just said 5sos. The right way.
I laughed and felt myself blushing uncontrollably."You guys are really talented, I listened to a few songs."
"Really? Thank you."
She stood up and walked around the room spotting my practice bass in the corner, leaned up against the wall.
She picked it up carefully and brought it over to me."Teach me." She said softly with a small smile.
My heart raced. I had always wanted to sit down and teach a girl how to play. This was some couple shit. And I liked it.
"Oh- yeah okay." I positioned the instrument in front of her and placed her hands in the right places. I reached my arm around her back and held her fingers on the strings.
She looked up at me and I realized how close we were.
"This is a C chord." I said as I plucked the string. She smiled at the hum of the sound.
"Subtle yet important." She said as she looked up at me with a smile forming at the corners of her mouth."Yes." I laughed
I showed her the other basic chords and taught her how to put them all together.I let go of the instrument into her hands and she played each chord with careful concentration and blended them into a melody.
I was shocked at how quickly she picked it up.
My mouth hung slightly open as I watched her playing my bass. I had basically dreamt of something like this.
She glanced over at me realizing she has been playing for a while."Sorry." She giggled taking it off of her and handing it to me.
"Don't be sorry, that was great." I stared at her in awe.
She giggled some more at my amazement.
"Well..you're a good teacher." She smirked.
We just looked at each other for a little while, both of us caught up in.. whatever this was.
