L.h -

The quietness of the hotel aided to this feeling of protection from the outside world. It felt like whatever happened within these walls could remain a secret.

"I guess we don't do anything about it." Michael answered his own question as I offered no help.

"We could if we wanted to." I mumbled quietly.

"What?" He looked at me with wide eyes. "What did you say?"

"I just- no one would know." I looked up at him hesitantly.

"Know.. what?" he noticed I was slightly closer to him.

"If we.." My words drifted off and I leaned closer to him and gently touched my lips to his. He pulled away at the feeling and looked at me like he was terrified.

Despite his initial reaction he leaned back in and closed the space between our mouths again, both of us realizing our secret was safe within this room. The feeling was unfamiliar yet comforting.

For a while now I had wondered somewhere in the back of my head what it would be like to kiss him and now, somehow, it was happening.
After a minute or so of soft, timid kisses he pulled away from me. His lips were red and his eyes were dark and I could hear his heart pounding in his chest.

We were both scared of what this was... and what it could become.
