I woke up and it was still dark outside. I checked Lou's phone which was on sitting the bedside table. 3.30AM.

When I was living with John he use to have a special "birthday" treat, which was maybe easier than usual..or worse. I used to wake up at 3 and sneak out, only to get caught. But at least I missed some of the day which meant some of the abuse. I cuddled in with Lou again and started shaking in fear that he would come back. Lou must have felt me moving in his sleep because he tightened his arms around me protectively. I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes letting sleep take me again.



"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO!" 8 voices shouted and I groaned.

The boys, perrie, el and dani stood around Lou's bed and held presents. I smiled slightly but turned around burying my face into the pillow. El laughed and pulled me into a sitting position

"Ok ok I'm up!" I said laughing at them.

"Yay!" They all shouted and put presents around my bed

Perrie handed me one and I opened it slowly. Pink hair dye

"You said you wanted to and mum taught me how to hair dye!"

I let out a small squeal

"Thank you so much pez!" I said and hugged her

Dani handed me one next and it was a piece of paper. It said to visit her any time to do dancing and that she could try and get me into a music video she was doing later in the year.

"Dani! Thank you so much!" I said pulling her into a hug.

Niall gave me a card to nandos, free anything for a month, Harry gave me a really cool shirt with a kitten on it, zayn gave me a voucher to a clothes shop that me and him went to and bought heaps of stuff and Liam gave me iTunes vouchers and phone cases. I thanked them all, I'd never gotten that much for my birthday. El and Lou said they both had something for me later but I would have to wait. I was so spoiled. definitely more than i've gotten..ever.

"Get up! Get ready! We have one other thing" Harry said and my mouth dropped making them laugh

"There's more?"

"Yep!"

"Wow" I whispered and they just laughed some more.

They left me to get dressed and I stood in my wardrobe looking around for something to wear. I decided to wear the kitten shirt Harry got me, which was black and white, and I wore light blue denim ripped shorts with it. I left my hair out and straightened it and of course put on makeup. I slipped on some of Lou's black toms and walked downstairs

"Hey you ready?"

"Yep!" I said smiling

"Are those mine?" Lou asked looking down at my feet

"Yep! They smell really bad by the way" he just laughed and put his arm around me and kissing my forehead before walking out to the car. They wouldn't tell me where we were going and turned the music up louder everytime I asked. Eventually I just sang loudly with el trying to annoy them, which didn't work they just found us funny.

Eventually we stopped at an old park that was empty and in the middle of no where. I got out and saw Harry bro hugging someone. A flash of red hair was all it took for my mouth to drop and my heart to race. Ed.

"I'm guessing you like our present" el said smirking and I nodded

"Close your mouth you'll catch flies" Lou sassed and I slowly closed it, putting my hand over my mouth instead as ed came over.

"Hey em" he said

"H-hey" I said still not believing my idol was standing in front of me

"i'm gonna cry," i breathed out, and ed laughed

"Happy birthday" he said smiling and I giggled. Best birthday present. Ever.



We had been at the park for about an hour now and we were sitting on the ground, talking, laughing, singing. i was sitting on ed's lap while niall was strunning the guitar and we all sang, out of time, but it was fun not professional, so who cares!

"i am going to get coke, want anything?" i asked everyone, getting up off ed

"no thanks" came from everyone

"can you get me chips?" niall asked and i nodded smiling at his cuteness.

i walked to the car which was only a few metres behind us and grabbed a coke and as i was reaching for the chips, someone grabbed my waist. i span around and saw my worst nightmare smiling at me.

"hi sweetheart. long time no see"
