I don't know what was burning
The ocean, the sun, or maybe my heart?
Or maybe it was my soul?
I could see the red
I could feel the grey
My soul was blue
And I had nothing to say,
But those eyes were talking nonstop.
I was watching the waves
As they touched my feet,
They felt cold,
Even in the blazing heat.
And I could hear the silent apology
I wish I could act reckless
Curse you maybe?
But the only question I wanted you to answer
Was ..why?....why me?
But I never asked,
And you never answered.
