                                 Why me ?

It’s late. Everyone is asleep, except one person, a young boy, locked in his room. 

Outside, the wind is strong and loud. It sounds like something is crying, or maybe screaming. He hears it all the time, and it’s getting worse.

  It’s hard to explain. The noise sounds like an animal, but also like a person. A high-pitched scream that hurts his head. Every night, it gets louder. 

The scream is deep and full of pain. It feels like it’s inside his head, not just outside the house. It’s not a sound meant for human ears. 

He can't sleep, he can't even eat, he can do nothing, exept heard the sound of this scream in his head.

Day after day, he feels like something is watching him. It's not just in his head. It’s in the house, in the shadows.  It's the feeling of be under pression everywhere he go at everymoment in his life.

It's a remembering of his violent dad, how he used to yell at him like he was just a pain in his ass, like he's nothing. Always be stalk by him, this pression and this fear is feel it's so similar.
It's like something dark is always there, waiting. Waiting in the shadow. Watching every move he do.

But the worse it's Milo have the feel that this thing grow up at the same time as his fear.

Now, the shadows follow him everywhere. The house is cold, the nights are long, and the scream never leaves. Whatever this thing is, it’s not going away.

And suddenly the air was missing. And the minimum of the air he can breath destroy his lungs. The air is toxic. It's like he can't breath, he have close his eyes because of the fear.

And even with a strong fear he open his eyes, and see with big wide eyes see the unknow creature have his hand on his neck and it catch his breath.

His thought are mixed up, and the possibility of him dying right now make him shake.

He sais to him i can't die... I just can't... No no no not now ! I just can't !

He suffocate, he try to scream but nobody can hear him, because no loud leave his mouth.

His eyes become difficult to keep open and he fall at the floor...

And time again he heard this scream...

He feel his shoulder be shake and leave his death-live time.

What he see was not a shadow, and he heard nothing exept this man standing in front of him who look stressfull and worried, about him ?

*Unknow* : Milo. You've start again. We will be in the obligation of make you return in the White room.

And this name of room make him understand everything. Like a flash this words making him understand all the situation he've live.

Milo : No ! You can't do that ! You just can't ! Stop that !!! Doctor Mane ! You can't make me return in this room !!!

Everything is a long fear sentence with scream look like what he have heard before.

Because he was the only monster of his life.

*Doctor Mane* : your'e mental illness (schizophrenia) is worst than before. You continue to talk alone, act strange like walk in the corridors and scream like a beast.

Milo : no... That can't be real ! I'm not totally crazy ! I know what i've live was true ! I promise ! Trust me ! Don't make me go in this room !

*Doctor Mane* : The worst part is than you've try to kill yourself again.

Milo : it's impossible ! It's this thing who've try to kill me ! I promised Trust me ! I-

*Doctor Mane* You've put your hand to your neck. The nurses seen you and me also. Your'e lucky we've success to come before you sigh your last breath.

Milo : No... It can't be- no !

Doctor Mane walk with him to the white room, a room with nothing dangerous just a bed and the wall covered with mattress.

Milo : NO !!!!! NO NO NO NO AND NO !!! LET ME GO ! LET ME GO !

*Doctor Mane* : i'm sorry. But milo your'e the monster you want escape...

J'espère que cette histoire vous a plus je dois en écrire une en anglais pour une tâche finale sur le thème de la littérature gothique au canada et j'aimerai avoir vos retour ! Désolée pour mon anglaise parfois très bancale 😭😂 c'est pas facile tout les jours. Et d'ailleurs qui de vous avait deviné la fin 👀 ça m'intéresse de savoir.
