TRISTAN

"You could at least watch where you're going," are they only words I come up with to break this... Unexpected moment. My rather harsh tone seems to have surprised her and she gets up, before tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Sorry," she says, her voice barely intelligible. I didn't mean to hurt her. I was simply trying to stop something useless from happening.

I sigh, going through my hair with my left hand. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so harsh. You know how... Unpredictable I can be," is my attempt to apologize to her.

"Yeah," she clears her throat before continuing. "Don't worry about it. I'm gonna go now." She turns her back to me, before slowly walking towards the door. "Alyssa," she turns around as she hears me call her. "Yeah," she replies, crossing her arms. I get up from the couch and walk towards her. I stop right in front of her and she looks up at me. It's funny how she's like eight inches smaller than me.

"I... I wanna see her," I tell her, but by the look on her face, I assume that she didn't really understood what I meant. "I mean Lola, I wanna see her. You think that could be possible?"

"Oh, well, yeah. There is a basketball game this Friday. I wasn't planning on going because of Roy and Davina, but I guess we can go," she tells me. "You don't have to if it's uncomfortable," I assure her. "No, it's okay. You'll be with me so it's not that bad." I simply nod at her response and then she turns the doorknob. "Uhm, I'll text you then," she says, slightly smiling before leaving my apartment.

I'm left alone again and look out of the window. It's slowly getting dark outside and it seems like it's about to rain. I hear my phone buzz and take it out of my pocket. Alyssa sent me the pictures of the files that we took at the school yesterday.

It seems like I've been through Lola's file almost a dozen times. I don't know her, I don't know anything about her and I've never seen her in person. But she seems to be so... Adorable. And to think that she might be my sister, doesn't particularly make me happy, because it would be still hard to accept. But if she is like I imagine she would be, then I must say that I will not be disappointed.

. . .

Leaning against my motorcycle, I wait for Alyssa to arrive at the parking lot of her school. I observe every single face that passes by, hoping to see Lola passing through here.

It's clear that I don't fit in here. Students who pass by me seem to observe me as well. I guess that my black leather jacket and my cold expression seem to bring their curiosity level on one hundred.

I finally sport Alyssa and she comes towards me with a small smile. "There you are, I've been waiting for you for almost fifteen minutes," I mumble to her. "Sorry, I'm a girl, getting ready takes a lot of time," she tells me, pointing at her face and I roll my eyes.

I look at her from head to toe and have to admit that she doesn't look bad. Her long blonde hair is falling down on her shoulders in waves. Her plump lips are covered in a dark shade of red and she is wearing a marine blue dress with a leather jacket and small black boots. She looks stunning, too stunning to my liking...

"Why are you looking at me like that, is there something wrong?" she asks me, almost panicking and I just smirk at her. "Leather, I like," I tell her and she chuckles. "Look at that, we match," she smirks, before dragging me towards the inside of her school.

"So, why are you al dressed up? Anyone you want to impress, Princess?" I ask her, sill looking around and she huffs. "No, I'm really sick and tired of guys actually," she tells me and I chuckle.

We enter the gym and take place in between hundreds of people at the bleachers. I keep looking around, but still can't find Lola or even her brother. I hope they came, because I am not spending a whole night here without seeing one of them.
