Happiness! (Ironman 2015)

About 2 weeks before her birthday....
Sarah paced her room back and forth not knowing what to say to her parents. Matt asked her to be with him for Ironman in Cebu. They have been planning this for about a year now. She felt guilty last year when she was not able to go at kahit hindi sinabi ni Matt na ok lang....... alam niya nagdamdam ito.
Sarah: Dy, good morning. May lakad po kayo today? (Greeted and kissed him at the dining room  while he was reading the paper)
DD: Wala naman anak. Bakit? May pupuntahan ka? Wala naman yata kayong date ni Matt.
Sarah: Wala naman po. Busy po siya sa training, shooting, at aalis pa papuntang London.
DD: Hmmm... Mukhang nahawaan mo na sa kabusyhan.
Sarah: Ahm.... Dy?
DD: Oh ano yun? (Tumingin kay Sarah) Naku... May hihingin ka na naman? (Iiling Iiling) o magpapaalam? Don't tell me magpapakasal na kayo? (Lumaki ang mata)
Sarah: Hindi po!!! Daddy naman e. Kasi po malapit na ang ironman.....tapos......
DD: Tapos ano?!
Sarah: Gusto po kasi ni Matt nandun ako. Nag promise po ako sa kanya last year na this year pupunta ako. So pwede po ba?
DD: Hay naku. Public event yan maraming tao. Baka pagkaguluhan ka dun. At tsaka di ba Ford si Matt? Conflict sa Toyota endorsement mo.
Sarah: Actually nakausap po namin ang Toyota. Ok naman po sa kanila as long as hindi ko suot ang Ford shirt. Kilala po kasi ng Tito ni Matt ang top exec ng Toyota.
DD: Pinagplanuhan ninyo talaga ha?! Hirap talaga ang boyfriend mo ang daming connections.
Sarah (napangiti ng palihim): So ano Dy? Overnight lang po. At magkaiba kami ng hotel.
DD: Hindi lang ako magdedisisyon. O ayan ang Mommy mo. (Mommy Divine came from the kitchen and place food on the table)
MD: Ano yun? Umupo ka na anak at magbreakfast. Bakit pala ang aga mo nagising? May schedule ka ba today?
DD: Naku, My. Nagpapaalam para sa Ironman. Kelan ba yun?
Sarah: August 2 po sa Cebu.
MD: Cebu?! Out of town yun anak. Mahirap yan. Pinapayagan namin kayo ni Matt lumabas dito sa Manila pero may bodyguards pa. Pano ang security mo dun?
Sarah: My! Sige na po..... overnight lang. Alam ko po super important ito para kay Matt. Gusto ko po ipakita ang suporta ko ng personal. (Gets teary eyed)
MD: Pag-iisipan namin.

Sarah: Hello? Lovey...
Matt: Hey Love! How are you? (greeted her on the phone) Teka umiiyak ka ba? What's wrong Love?
Sarah: Si Mommy at Daddy kasi (sobs)... Mukhang hindi ako papayagan pumuntang Cebu. Para sa ironman... For security reasons daw.
Matt (kept quiet for a while and sighs): Mahal, huwag ka na umiyak. As much as I want na nandun ka, ayaw ko umiiyak ka at malungkot. May reason din naman sila kailangan lang nila siguro ng assurance na safe ka nga. Don't worry ok? Hahanap ako ng paraan.
Sarah: Basta Lovey....mahal na mahal kita.
Matt: Mahal din kita.....very much.

A week before her birthday......
Matt couldn't help but felt sad about the situation. Alam niya na hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin buong buo ang tiwala nila sa kanya. He is happy na napapayagan na rin sila magdate na sila lang but still with bodyguards and as much as possible separate cars. Buti na lang naging close na rin sila ni Kuya Joe so minsan nagkakamoment din sila.
MG: Good morning son. You look so serious early in the morning. May problema ka?
Matt: Ma, you know I pray every night for Sarah to be there on my next Ironman race right?
MG (nods): Wait... hindi siya pinayagan?
Matt: They told her pag iisipan nila. They are concerned about her security. I understand din naman. Kahit ako ganun din ang concern ko.
MG: Hmmm. Don't worry. You want me to talk to them? Assure ko lang na we will protect her by all means.
Matt: Thanks Ma. (Hugs her Mom) I'm happy you love the girl that I love so much.
MG: Sarah is such a darling. Napakabait na bata. I think natakot din ang Mommy niya na biglang pakasalan mo at hindi na isoli sa kanila (laughs)
Matt (smiles): How I wish!

Sarah: Hello?! (squinting as the sun rays peeks through her room)
Matt: Good morning birthday girl! Happy birthday! Rise and shine!
Sarah: Good morning! Thank you. Love....naman e. Anong oras pa lang ba? (Looked at her bedside clock) 7am?! Ang aga mo naman! Alam mo naman na hindi ako morning person.
Matt (smiles): You have to get up now. In exactly 15 minutes nasa gate ninyo na kami.
Sarah: Huh!? Anong sa gate? Anong kami?
Matt: Kasama ko si Mama and we brought breakfast!
Sarah: Ano?! (Gets up from her bed and rushed to her bathroom and splashed water on her face) Wait! I have to take a bath pa.
Matt: Ok. Have a quick shower. Don't worry your Mom knows we're coming.
Sarah took her bath for 10 minutes and the whole time she was wondering why Tita Glenna and Matt came over. She quickly changed to a white shirt and short just slightly above the knee and went downstairs. She was surprised to see her parents with Matt and Tita Glenna in the living room... talking.
DD: O ayan na ang birthday girl. Good morning, anak! Happy birthday! (Kissed her cheek)
MD: Happy birthday anak! (Kissed and hugged her)
Sarah: Thank you po Mommy and Daddy.
MG: Happy birthday hija! (Kissed her cheek) Pasensya ka na ang aga namin nang-istorbo sa yo.
Matt: Hi Love! Happy birthday! For you (giving her a bouquet of flowers and kissed her cheek)
Sarah (blushed and hugged him): Thank you mahal.
DD: Ahem! Nandito pa po kami. Tara na at kumain tayo ng breakfast. Baka gutom qna rin sila dahil ako gutom na (everyone laugh) Doon na rin natin pag-usapan ang dapat pag-usapan.
Sarah (whispers to Matt): Ano ang pag-uusapan? (Seems nervous but Matt just smiled)
