PaoPao's Birthday Dinner

Matt: Ma, I'm home!!! (Calls out to his Mom as he enters their home)
MG: Hey Son! How's your flight? (He kissed her cheek)
Matt: It was ok a little turbulent in some parts. Nandito na sila Papa?
MG: Yeah. He and Giorgia went out for a while to buy some additional stuff for the dinner later. Makakapunta ba si Sarah?
Matt: I don't know yet. When we video called last night nasa Tarlac sila today. Sabi niya she will try.
MG: Oh...well Paolo is expecting her. Alam mo naman ang kapatid mo he is really fond of Sarah.
Matt: I know. Thank you also Ma for loving her. (Placed an arm around her)
MG: Because she is such a sweetheart. Masaya ako para sa yo because nakita mo na rin ang babaeng you have always dreamed of.
Matt (smiles): Yes and I will make sure I keep her forever.
MG: Sus...magplano ka muna ng proposal! (Chuckles) Umakyat ka na sa kwarto mo at magpahinga na muna and settle down your things.
Matt: We will get there Ma. Ipon muna ako para confident pag harap kay Tito at Tita.

Matt went to his room and called Sarah.
Sarah: Hello Lovey. Nakarating ka na?
Matt (smiles...just by the sound of her voice parang nakailaw na agad ang paligid): Yes Love. Nasa bahay na. Mama is asking if you can come here for dinner. What time kayo uwi from Tarlac?
Sarah: Hindi pa sure e. Pero try ko talaga. Paolo sounded sad kanina when I called. Nag greet kasi ako kaninang umaga at nasabi ko na baka hindi ako makapunta.
Matt: Oh....ok. Ako din masasad if wala ka. I miss you Love.
Sarah (smiles): Miss din naman kita.
Matt (smiles widely and feels kilig....he can't really get over na she is his kahit 4 years na sila): Oh God...how I wish I could kiss and hug you right now. I love you. Sana you will make it later. I hate to cut this conversation short pero ayusin ko muna ang mga gamit ko and help Don later to set up the barbecue. Papa brought lechon from Cebu. He knows favorite mo yun.
Sarah: Aw...love naman. Na pressure tuloy ako na makadalo talaga (giggles) o siya Sige na. Magpahinga ka muna saglit bago mo tulungan si Doniks. Hindi ka ba pagod? Will really try later. Paalam ako kay Mommy. I love you.

Matt: Happy happy birthday dear brother!!! (He greeted him as soon as he opened the door and gave him a hug and lifted him)
Paolo: Kuya!!! You're already here! I thought your flight was later pa? (Chuckles as Matt tickles him) You have to put me down I am a big boy na.
Matt (puts him down): Yeah can't believe you're 11 na. No girls muna ha? Learn from me. Don't grow up too fast.
Paolo: Kuya!!! I don't  like girls pa kaya except for Ate Sarah. Is she here?
Matt: Nope she's not here and she told me she's not sure if she can come. Nasa Tarlac pa siya and hey....You know your Ate is my girlfriend right? You are not crushing on you Ate ha?
Paolo (blushed): I just like her. (Turned sad) I hope she can come later. She promised me this morning.
MG: Paolo, go to your room and freshen up. Change into some clean clothes and guests will be here shortly.
Paolo: Ok. (Went upstairs)
Matt: Did his classmates enjoyed the McDonald's treat in school Ma?
MG: Ay Oo. Thank you son. Ang saya niya kanina but I guess he will be disappointed if Sarah will not be here. He is really fond of her. Pareho sila kasi mahilig mag draw and text mates pa sila.
Matt: I feel happy na you all love my Sarah. It really feels great that you all approve of her.
PG: As long as we know she makes you happy son we can't ask for anything more (butts in as he goes to Mama Glenna and kisses her forehead) But Matteo you need to help Don with the barbecue. I need something from your Mama (looks at her and smiles)
Matt (smiles...he knows that look): I get it Papa. Ok ok I will go now.
Giorgia: Kuya hey. Don't forget your gift for the monita monito. (Taps his shoulder as he headed to the pool area)
Matt: Yeah yeah. Good thing you reminded me kanina. I bought something from duty free because I completely forgot about it.
Giorgia: Good. Sayang Sarah was not able to join.
Matt: Eh Hindi rin naman siya sure na makapunta siya.

It's almost 7pm and Sarah has not arrived. The doorbell sounded and Matt hurriedly went to see who it was. He opened the door and Lian, Giorgia's friend went in.
Lian: Merry Christmas!!! (Handed some of the gifts to Matt and made beso) Huy Matt! Disappointed? Were you expecting someone else?
Matt: Oh sorry Li. Merry Christmas.
Lian: Paolo happy birthday!!! (Went to Paolo and kissed him)
Matt was about to close the door when he smelled a familiar scent. Sarah suddenly appeared at the front door to surprise him.
Sarah: Surprise!!!
Paolo: Ate Sarah!!!!! (Ran to her and hugged her tight from the waist)
Matt just stood like a statue and when he realized what had just happened.
Matt: Lovey!!! You made it. (Went to hugged her also and forgot that Paolo was already hugging her and was sandwiched between them)
Paolo: Kuya!!!
Matt: Oops sorry bro!
Sarah (laughs): Happy birthday Paolo! (Kissed his cheek and handed him his gift) Hi Love! (Tiptoed and kissed him quickly on the lips)
Giorgia: Come Sarah. Get inside so we can have dinner. My older brother is still in the state of shock (everyone laughs as Giorgia held her hand and led him inside)
Lian: Matt, sabay kami ni Sarah dumating but she is right to surprise you. (Chuckles)

Matt watched her as she warmly greets everyone especially his parents. He is really happy to see her at home sa bahay nila. They enjoyed dinner together and sang happy birthday to Paolo before he blew his candle and laughed when Papa Gian tried to push Pao's face toward his cake. After dinner, they went on with their monito-monita and Sarah stood beside Paolo. Everyone had a great time. They had some alone time together a few minutes before he drives her home. Hinatid lang siya kanina and she told her Mom na magpapahatid na lang siya pauwi. Kahit mag 4 years na sila may curfew pa rin si Sarah. Bawal pa rin kasi mapuyat para mapreserve ang boses niya at may prod pa to sa Christmas special the next day. They were sitting beside each other with his arm around her and she leans on his shoulder.
Sarah: Love, what time ka bukas sa Araneta?
Matt: Baka after lunch siguro. Pareho naman ang call time natin e but isang prod lang yata ako. Sa leading men prod. Ikaw? I'm sure marami ka.
Sarah: Three yata. Not sure pa. Baka mauna kami. Rehearse pa ko with James, Inigo and Darren.
Matt: I will look forward to it. I'm sure sing and dance naman yan and you will do great as always. (Kisses her forehead)
Sarah: Iiiih! Yan ka na naman e. Kailangan ko nga magrehearse. Bruno Mars medley yun yata. Sana makapanuod tayo ng concert no? Kaya lang may US tour ako and you will also be busy sa promotion ng album mo and may teleserye ka pa next year.
Matt: We'll see. Nagagawan naman ng paraan yan e.
Sarah: Pero di ba sold out na tickets?
Matt: Ako pa ba? I have my ways. (Pagyayabang niya)
Sarah: Hmmm....ikaw talaga. Don't tell me bumili ka na ng tickets? (Looked at him and pinched his nose)
Matt: Love naman. Huwag naman sa ilong. Ok, I confessed I bought tickets pero if hindi tayo pwede I will give it to Donikko and find him a date (grins)
Sarah (giggles): Ikaw talaga! Pero grabe ka kay Doniks ha. Malay mo may girlfriend na siya by May next year.
Matt (chuckles): Ikakatuwa lang nun na manonood siya kahit mag isa siya. Anyway, it's almost time for you to go home and I haven't had the proper kiss yet (moves closer and kisses the tip of her nose)
Sarah (giggles and bites her lower lip): Oh...what do you mean by proper kiss? (Raises her eyebrow and Matt moves closer until their lips are just an inch away.....Sarah can really be a tease sometimes)
Donikko: Matt!!!!! Tawag ka ni Tita. Hatid mo na raw si Sarah nag usap kasi sila ni Tita Divine may ipapadala na lechon. (He calls out to him)
Matt (sighs): Remind me to kill you later Don! (Sarah laughs) I changed my mind if we can't go I will just sell the tickets and not it give it to him.
Sarah (giggles): Ang cute mo talaga pag nabitin! Gwapo! (Touched his face and kissed him softly on the lips for a few seconds)
Matt: Wow!
