Felt so Bad

Matt: Lovey, hey! Relax. Everything will be alright.
Sarah: I don't know Love. Kinakabahan ako. Judgment day na tomorrow. Semis of the Voice Kids. (She bit her lower lip as he told him through Skype)
Matt (sighs): You should not worry. Just calm yourself and whatever happens there must be reason for that. And can you do me a favor?
Sarah (stares at the screen anticipating what he has to say): What?
Matt: Can you not bite your lips? Mas namimiss ko ang kiss mo e (smiles)
Sarah (chuckles): Sira! Ikaw talaga!
Matt: See?! Napatawa kita (smiles widely) Seriously though, I miss you. Kahit I just arrived here and we saw each other the night before my flight and that's just 2 days ago. Love, huwag mo pansinin mga bashers mo. I know you have been struggling not to be affected by it most especially when you chose Kyle. Hayaan mo na.
Sarah (sighs): Oo nga. Thank you Love. Sige matutulog na rin ako. Ingat ka diyan. Hello na lang sa mga kababayan natin at kay Ate Cris din. I love you! (Through him a kiss through the screen)
Matt: Don't worry ok? I love so much! And I miss you.

Bang: Sars, ang ganda mo talaga at sexier ha. Love how the jumpsuit looks on you.
Sarah: Naku po kasi kayo nagpapaganda sa akin (smiles)
Bang: Baka lagot na naman ako kay Matteo dahil mababa sa back part at tube pa. But you have the shoulders and great skin to flaunt! Medyo minsan ang BF mo sobra pa kay Mommy.
Sarah (giggles): Hayaan mo na. Ganyan lang talaga yun.
Voice staff: Ok guys. Ready. We are going live in a few minutes.
After their performances and the Saturday show ended, Sarah met up with Kyle and Zephanie.
Sarah: Great performances kids! I'm so proud of you both.
Zephanie: Thank you po coach.
Kyle: Thanks coach. Whatever happens tomorrow we are really glad to be part of your team.
Sarah: Aw! Thank you too guys (hugs them both) We just pray for the best. Whatever the results are I will always be here for you and will be forever your coach.
Zephanie: We love you po. Basta tuloy lang po ang pangarap.

MD: Nak, good luck mamaya. Wala akong natanggap na confirmation nung bumoto ako kagabi. Sila Evelyn din. Ikaw?
Sarah: Hindi ko po napansin My. Nakatulog kasi po ako pagkatapos namin mag-usap ni Matt kanina. Check ko po mamaya. Na charge ko pa po ang phone.
MD: Si Daddy mo may natanggap na confirmation. Mukhang nahirapan ang system kasi send to one number lang. Siyanga pala, bawasan niyo muna mag usap ni Matteo hanggang madaling araw. Halata na eyebags mo.
Sarah: Mommy naman e! Pagbigyan mo na po. LDR e.
MD: LDR? (Looks confused)
Sarah: Long distance relationship po (smiles)
MD: Hay naku! Kayong mga bata talaga. Maligo ka na at magtatanghali na maaga tayong pupunta ng Resorts World.

The noise at Resorts World was deafening........ Sarah hugged Kyle and Zephanie. Last name to be called. Kahit isa man lang sana..... When Luis called Sassa's name.... Tears fell from her eyes. She hugged them both so tight and congratulated Coach Lea and Coach Bamboo.
Sarah's POV
Lord, I know this is another test for me. Thy will be done ika nga. But I have to be strong for the kids. I just have to let them know na dapat they will never quit.

Sarah: Zephanie, you are great ha? Just keep on trying. You are very good. You did very very well. Kumbaga hindi lang ito ang panahon mo. Alam ko masakit.... pero pick up the pieces lang and keep trying. (Puts her arms around Zeph's shoulders)
Zephanie: Opo coach. (Wipes the tears in her eyes) Nalulungkot po ako pero hindi po ako titigil sa pangarap ko.
Sarah: And Kyle (turning to Kyle and puts her arm on his shoulder also) You improved a lot since the blind auditions. A little more push and you will melt our hearts with your voice. Keep singing kids. Remember I will always be here for both of you. I will always be your coach. Ok? group hug! (Laughter and tears as all kids hugged her nakisali din si Mandy, Krystel at Bella)

Sarah: Ganun po talaga sa kumpetesyon. May nananalo may natatatalo. Thank for all the support popsters. Ingat po kayo pauwi. (She told her fans as they send her off)
As soon as the door of her van closed, she kept quiet and tears fell again from her eyes. She hugged Rio closed and kissed her head.
MD: Nak! Ok lang yun. (Placed her hand on her shoulder) We never expected it pero ganun talaga.
Sarah (sobs and moves closer to her Mom and placed her head on her shoulder): Ang sakit lang po kasi My. Nagtiwala po ang mga bata sa akin. Hindi ko po naibigay ang pinangarap nila. I was hoping na kahit isa lang may chance lang to be in the final 4.
MD: Hindi lahat ng pangarap nakakamit.... Pero pwedeng pagtrabahuhan. Bilib nga ako sa mga bata. Malakas ang fighting spirit. Tahan na.... Mugto na mga mata mo.

It's 2 am and hindi pa rin nakatulog si Sarah. She has been crying for hours now and keep recalling the entire season of the Voice Kids 2  and kept remembering the announcement of the final 4. If only Matt can call me right now..... alam ko busy siya meeting with the sponsors and ngayon ang event nila.

Cris: Matt! I know you will have your show in a while pero nakaopen ka na ba ng Twitter?
Matt: No Hindi pa. Nag low batt kasi ako and I forgot to bring my powerbank. Bakit po ate?
Cris: Walang nakapasok sa final 4 ng Voice Kids from Sarah's team!
Matt: Ha?! Are you sure? That's almost impossible! Wait.... I have to call her. She must be heartbroken! Argh.... I hate this. Kung kelan pa magkalayo kami!
Cris: Madaling araw pa lang sa Pilipinas at this moment. Maybe you can call her later.
Matt: Hindi din naman ako matatahimik. I'll send a message through viber.

Sarah's heart skipped a beat when she heard her phone buzzed. She quickly sent him a message and Matt called her.
Matt: Love, hey! I have heard the news. Hang on ok? How I wish I am there to comfort you.
Sarah (sobs): I felt that I disappointed my team. Ang sakit sakit! I never expected it would happen.
Matt: Hey! Stop crying ok. I know the kids really appreciate what you've done for them. Pero sadyang some things are out of our control. Please stop crying.... you know I don't want you sad. And it pains me na wala ako diyan.
Sarah: Sorry Love. I can't help it kasi. I feel really bad.
Matt: You have to rest now Love. (He said softly) You always say so yourself everything happens for a reason and if it's God's will.... It's God's will. Please don't be sad. The show will start in a while.
Sarah. Thanks Love. Don't worry about me. I'll be cheerful next time we talk. I just wanted to vent out my emotions by crying so hard. I'll be ok later.
Matt: Sleep now. I love you.
Sarah: I love you too.

Cris: How is she Matt?
Matt: She will be ok. She's tough. (Sighs) Well... the show must go on. Let's do this and head back home the soonest.

MD: O Matt! Nagulat naman ako sa yo. Kelan ka dumating? (She asked him as he entered their living room after the maid opened the door)
Matt: Good evening po Tita. (Made beso) Just now lang po. Straight from the airport. Si Sarah po?
MD: Nasa room niya. Sandali lang tawagin ko. Does she know pupunta ka?
Matt: She knows I'm coming home but she doesn't know na dederecho ako dito.
MD: Mabuti din na nandito ka para mapagaan mo ang loob niya.

Matt sat on the sofa and waited for her. He stood up when he saw her descending the stairs.
Sarah: Love! (Ran to him and hugged him) Nakakagulat ka naman! But I'm so glad you're here (hugged him tighter and rest her cheek on his chest)
Matt (hugged her back): I miss you. (Pulls back and looked at her) Are you ok now? It looks like you've been crying again.
Sarah (forced a smile): I'm ok now that you're here. Did you bring something for me? (Flashed him a smile and became wide eyed)
Matt (chuckles and thought she can be adorable like a kid most of the time): I brought your favorite.... Gummy bears (smiles widely as he took out a pack from his bag)
Sarah (took the pack and smile widely): Yehey! Thank you Love! (Touched his face) Mukhang pagod ka pa. Kasi naman dumerecho ka dito from airport.
Matt: I just have to see you. I felt bad when I was not here last Sunday. I will always be here for you. You know that right? And huwag ka magpaapekto sa bashers. (Pulls her closer and hugged her again)
Sarah: Thanks again Love. Iniisip ko nga sana panaginip lang ang nangyari. Uwi ka na agad sa inyo? (Asked him as she pulls out from the hug)
Matt: I can stay few more minutes. Kaya pa. Gusto ko pa! (Smiles and do his Cobra pose)
Sarah (laughs): Thank you for making me laugh.
Matt (smiles): You're welcome. So? Can I have my kiss now? (Pouts his lips)
Sarah (hinampas si Matt): Sira! Makikita tayo dito. Tara sa pool area (smiles at him teasingly)
Matt: Oh! That's more like it (he held her hand and they went to the pool area)

I felt bad when Zephanie didn't make it sa Final 4. I voted for her. Nakareceive ako ng confirmation last Saturday pero nung Sunday wala na. We don't really have proof na the results were manipulated but there's really something wrong with the voting system. Anyway, good vibes pa rin po. I'm voting for Sassa now. Enough of the biriteras! 😂
