Dib plugged his ears tightly as he heard a rocket soar up into the sky that was now turning orange. He looked at it and saw something green in the window. Zim! he thought. What should he do? He could leave Tak, but she might be in trouble after he left. He could stay there, but he'd have to figure out Zim's evil plan before he tries to destroy Earth. Then again, this time he may be too late and the Earth will fall just because of him and his love. He shivered.

"Whatever my conscious says, I must ignore it! I have to stop Zim, I have to!" Dib said to himself, putting his jacket on. He hesitated as he stepped on the door mat, looking back at Tak who was smiling in her sleep. Dib took the time to write a note and set it on the side table next to the beautiful Irken. "I'll be back soon, I promise, just as soon as I save the human race." Then he headed out the door without turning back. If he was to save the Earth, he would have to just be Dib and Dib, not Dib and Tak or Dib and Sam. He was a loner, and he would stay alone.

The human raced down the sidewalk to his house, the long trek there seeming short. He opened the garage door and held his breath at the sight of Tak's broken ship. It brought back memories of when Zim and him teamed up against her to save Earth. Dib frowned. He'd seen comics on the Internet where either he had kissed Zim, or Zim had kissed him. He gagged; those were outrageous, not to mention they almost killed each other on space ship planets before. He didn't even slightly admire his unstoppable persistence to destroy the world, no matter how much it was like his persistence to save the world. He shook off the thought and turned on the ship.

"Self repairs minimal, but functional," it announced, "Odds of not exploding in atmosphere: Decent." Dib smirked as he took a moment gloat, even though Zim was probably out of the atmosphere by now. "Okay, Zim... You may think in the midst of my emotions I am not ready to face you, but your wrong! I'm back! And I will stop your evilness once and for all, you horrible alien!" he said as he stepped into the ship. He put on his space suit and scanned the intricate buttons, levers, and screens. It was sort of like a video game from the future, only in real life with no instructions whatsoever.

"Let's see..." he mumbled, pressing a green button. Wires wrapped around him and squeezed tightly as his face turned blue. The wires abruptly retracted and went back into their slots. "Body signature scan complete. Recognized: Dib Membrane: Human. Analysis: Unacceptable intruder," it said, pointed wires sticking out from where the wires went down in. "Wait! Ship, remember? You erased your files because I'm such a big loser!" Dib pleaded. He didn't mean that he was a loser, he just needed it to remember that it once had the honor of being him for a day. "You were me once! You used to have my incredible memories!"

The knifes drew closer still, and soon he was pressing against the seat. "Ship! Remember!!" he yelled, feeling the blade touch his cheek softly. It stopped, setting the blade there. "Where's Tak?" it asked. "Uh..." Dib stammered, not knowing if he told that she was in a coma it'd let him off easily. "She's...busy! She told me to take control of her ship so I can stop Zim! She's enemies with him, too, you know." The ship's claw on the outside in the front came up to its bottom rim thoughtfully. Seconds later the blade came off of Dib and the systems became open to him. "Alright. Personality scan?" it asked. "N-no..."

The last time he did that the ship thought it was the real Dib and took over his life, sort of. Zim took advantage of the fact that it was an Irken bioship and made it work for him. The whole misadventure lead to him almost being dumped intp the city cesspool, but in the end Zim was flung miles away and he was stuck there listening to his entire life over again when the ship erased its memory. The ship unplugged itself, tilting forward and making Dib be pulled back to the present. "Alright," he exclaimed, smiling slightly.

He pressed a button and it zoomed off on its red claws, running like a squirrel. "NYAAAAAAH!!" Dib screamed. The boy lunged forward and kissed the window as it sharply stopped since there were no seat belts to hold him. "Do you wish to make that the break command?" it asked. Dib slowly slid down the window and as he reached the floor he stood up completely, hitting his head on the ceiling a little. "No! How about we just go into space?" he sassed irritably, pointing upwards.

"The rocket boosters are not yet fully functional, but will manage...possibly."

"How possibly? What's the percentage?"

"Fifty-fifty percent chance of making it," the ship replied.

"Only fifty percent? That's not a lot, but...I guess it's worth a shot..."

The Irken bioship glowed on the inside and shot up smoothly except the occasional bump. As he glanced out the window, he saw that he was about only fifty feet up from sea-level. That's why it was running so smoothly. "Can't you go any faster?" he asked impatiently. The answer, of course: "Possible, but not intelligent." Dib sighed and leaned back. "Fine, take your time." "Activation code accepted!" it replied as it shot up into space. Dib could feel his body being pressed against his seat and his head began to swim. "Ship! Stop! AAAAAH!" he cried, only to be heard by him in space.

Suddenly there was a ship in front of him, a big, huge, red ship. "NyaaaaAAAAAH!" Dib heard someone shout as another rocket ship--a human model--launched in front of him. The three ships collided, nothing there to stop them. There was no smoke and no sound: just fire and explosions. There was no way they'd survive, except for the aliens in the other side of their humongous bioship. They were completely, utterly doomed.
