Vaidehi had been so excited about our trip to Bali. She wouldn't stop talking about it the night before, practically bouncing on her toes as she packed.

So, I made a quick call to Himanshu to find out the name of the hotel resort he'd booked for our stay. Once I had the details, I called the resort myself and extended the reservation by two extra days—before everyone else arrived. I wanted those two days alone with her. Just the two of us, away from everything, before the chaos of our friends descended.

And now, here we were. At the airport. Waiting to board our flight.

Since Suyash's party, things between Vaidehi and me had shifted. We'd gotten a lot closer. There'd been... well, a lot of making out. And now that we were heading to Bali together, just the two of us, I couldn't help but hope something more might happen.

We were flying business class—and she was curled up beside me, practically glowing with excitement.

"I booked us lunch with lots of food and tropical drinks right after we land," she said, eyes sparkling. "Then a couple's massage. After that, we'll go to beach and enjoy a little—and then dinner. It's supposed to be this beachside setup with candles and music. Super romantic."

I smiled, letting her enthusiasm wash over me.

But then she turned to me, eyebrows scrunching. "You don't like it? We can change some of it if you want."

I reached out, gently tucked a stray strand of her hair behind her ear, and held her gaze.

"So let me get this straight—I get to have lunch with you, then a couple's massage on a vacation, then have fun with you on the beach, and finally a dinner date with the most beautiful woman I know?" I said. "Yeah, I think I love it."

She blushed, smiling wide.

I leaned in and kissed her forehead.

It was a smart decision to fly in early—especially since we left those two legendary cock-blockers, Raj and Rudra, back at the palace. No way I was letting them ruin Bali for us. They'd be joining us in two days with the rest of the group—Himanshu and his family, Suyash, Diya, and of course, Vaidehi's overprotective brothers, Yuhaan and Yuvaan.

For now, though, it was just me and Vaidehi.

Once we boarded the flight, Vaidehi promptly passed out on my shoulders. I stayed still, watching—her face peaceful, her breath steady, her head resting on my shoulder—I couldn't resist. I clicked a few photos.

The sight of her like that... soft, serene, trusting... it did something to me.

And I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me feel complete. Happy, in a way I hadn't known I could be.
