"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" the redheaded girl exclaimed as the two of them threw out their hands to reveal their choices, Luke's being rock and Katherine's being paper.
"Ha!" She yelled, jumping up and down excitedly, as if she had just won the fucking lottery. "I win! We use the girls restroom!"
Luke frowned, crossing his arms across his chest stubbornly. "That's stupid," he stated, shaking his head. "How does a fucking piece of paper win over a rock? Who invented this game? I'm suing them."
"You're acting like such a kid," Katherine giggled, rolling her eyes playfully as she made her way into the girls bathroom, the blonde trailing behind her grumpily.
"Am not," he whined, pouting slightly.
"Are to," the redheaded girl insisted, earning a low grumble from Luke. "If you weren't such a kid, you wouldn't be whining like one."
"Fine," the taller boy squeaked, puffing up his cheeks cutely, which were red from being so utterly flustered.
Katherine smiled, "okie dokie, lets get this shit started, give me the hair dye," she instructed, holding her hand out to him.
Luke fished through the plastic Target bag, pulling out the box of blue hair dye and giving it to her. "Don't we need like a mixing bowl or something?" He asked, cocking his head to the side curiously.
The redheaded girl shook her head, "no, we'll just do it straight from the bottle," she explained, earning a nod from Luke, who looked like he'd seen the fucking messiah.
"That's cool," he said, smiling widely as Katherine prepared the hair dye happily, putting it all in the fancy looking hair dye bottle. "You're cool," she responded, making the blonde giggle. And god, did she love his giggle.
"Okie dokie, sit on the floor or something," she said finally as she finished squeezing the remnants of blue hair dye into the now darkly colored bottle.
The blue eyed boy cringed. "But it's dirty!" He whined, pouting at the shorter girl, though only getting a scoff in response.
"You swam in a dolphin piss filled tank like a month ago, Lucas. Sit on the floor or i'll make you sit on the fucking toilet," she threatened, earning a scream from Luke, who promptly sat on the mostly clean looking green and white tiled floor, crinkling his nose in distaste at his chosen sitting area.
"Ew," he mumbled, shuffling a bit as Katherine took the bottle of hair dye in her hands, tightening the lid on the top before looking at him, her eyebrows raised. "You're totally set on doing this?" She questioned.
Luke nodded, grinning widely, "yeah, i'm a sucker for adventure," he whispered, his blue eyes wide as he mimicked the shorter girls earlier words.
The redheaded girl shot him a glare, responding with the appliance of, what Luke liked to call, cold ass hair dye onto the blonde's hair.
"Holy fucking shit!" He exclaimed, practically jumping up from his place on the floor, practically shivering from the sudden cold contact on his head. "Kat, that's fucking cold!"
Katherine giggled, continuing to apply the hair dye. "Beauty is pain," she stated simply, earning a dark glare from the boy in front of her.
"Like liking you," he joked, the volume of his voice practically at a whisper, if not even softer than that, making the grey eyed girl shuffle, her cheeks glowing almost as red as her hair.
"Is that a compliment or an insult?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow at him as she continued to busy herself in the dark colored dye that began to stain her hands as she worked.
