The day went by slowly, which wasn't really new considering that's how each and every day of Katherine's life went.

She went to school, sat in multiple excessively brightly lit classrooms, walked Calum to guitar practice every Monday, went home to wait for Ashton and her mum, and then went to sleep. Her life was pretty ordinary and she liked it that way. Sure, it was boring as fuck, but it wasn't bad. Especially today, since, of course, she was changing it up a bit and hanging out with Luke.

In all honesty, she liked Luke. He was fun to talk to and had a talent in making her laugh, even at the stupidest jokes. In a weird way, she just felt happy around him despite the fact that at times, he could be a bitter motherfucker with lack of a conscience or soul. But then again, she could be like that too. So maybe that's why they got along so well.

"Alright, i'm off to guitar practice" Calum announced as they exited the school, making their way to the parking lot. "Have fun on your date, Katherine" he teased, a playful grin on his face as he walked away.

Katherine rolled her eyes and yelled after him, loudly saying, "It's not a fucking date!" to which she got the reply of "and i'm fucking asian! It's a date!"

The redhead shook her head, watching as Calum's figure disappeared around the corner before making her way out to the track where Luke and her had agreed to meet up.

It was around 3:30 now and the campus was still very much full of life with fall sports practice being held on the field. Katherine never liked sports much. She wasn't really a fan of getting yelled at and possibly breaking multiple limbs. But that was what she had Ashton for.

You see, Ashton was practically known for his "genius" talent in swimming and she remembered teasing him about being a merman when she was younger and Ashton had just moved in, both of them wide eyed and happy to have a sibling.

Katherine looked around curiously, frowning at the lack of the blonde boy's usually loud presence. Hands covered her vision, making her frown.

"Guess who" a familiar chirpy voice said in such a happy sing song voice, it made Katherine want to gag.

"Hi, Luke," she said, faking her avid excitement to see him as he took his hands away from her face, giving her a bright smile, his blue eyes wide with almost child like playfulness.

"Look how smart you are" he praised, adjusting his backpack from where it was slung carelessly across his broad shoulders.

Katherine snorted and rolled her eyes, shooting him a smile that he politely returned. "So, Katherine Heally, are you ready for the coolest hang out session ever?" Luke asked excitedly as he took out his car keys, making his way to the still nearly full student parking lot.

"You sound like my grandma" the redhead snickered, earning a cold glare from the boy beside her. "And besides, what are we going to do anyway? Fuck?"

Luke shook his head, leading the way to his old, hand-me-down black car and scoffing as if her words actually had affect on him.

"Excuse you, i don't fuck on the first date" he stated with a huff, opening the car door for her. "I would love to fuck though. Just tell me when."

Katherine let out a gagging noise as she sat in the car, setting her generic black backpack on her lap as the door closed beside her. "That was an awfully polite act to have done while saying such sinful things" she began almost poetically as Luke appeared on the other side of the car, slipping into the drivers seat and starting the almost ancient vehicle. "But seriously, where the fuck are we going?"

The blonde gave her a small smile, his eyes wide as he whispered, "Neverland, Wendy."

And with that, as well as a fairly hard (and painful, as stated by Luke throughout the majority of the ride) punch in the arm, the two left the school parking lot blasting Green Day loudly and arguing over the sounds of punk rock history.
