NSFW / sorry for the hiatus ... school kicked my butt. Here's a spicy chapter, for your enjoyment. Happy Fall.
Luke parked the truck a mile into their property, by their pond that Mary had once spent her summers reading beside. The wildflowers were tall, nearly as tall as she is. She'd be covered in bug bites, her Grandmother would have to pick ticks off of her bare skin. But despite her Grandmother's constant warnings, she always found herself amongst the pond.
And tonight, the moonlight glittered off the waves and shined like glitter under the night sky. The waxing gibbous moon shined bright amongst the star-studded sky. The cicadas were deafening, far too loud to allow any sound out for the neighbors to hear. There were no neighbors anyway, Mary thought to herself.
Far from any trees, so no falling insects (or snakes — for that matter) could surprise them as they spent their evening together.
Mary sat in the cab of the truck, peering down at Luke as he laid various blankets and comforters over the wide truck bed. They stripped her mattress, then grabbed two Halloween ones she had stashed away for the season. He laid the softest on top — a plush Jack-O-Lantern and black cat throw, then laid two pillows right beneath her window. "We should have done this a long time ago," Luke glanced up at her, standing on the truck and walking towards where her arms were folded atop the ledge, her head resting atop them. "We're alone," he breathed, his eyes meeting hers as his voice turned into something sinful.
Goosebumps covered her body as she raised her head up off of her arms, her smile matching his. She felt something tingle deep inside of her as she read between the lines, noted how much she had teased him on the way here and wondered how he'd make her pay for it.
He jumped off the side of the truck to her, pulling open the passenger side door to meet his towering body directly above. The truck was tall, but he was somehow taller although she practically had to pull herself into her seat.
He grabbed her by her good leg, and pulled her body to the edge of her seat. With a gasp, she grabbed onto him for support. With his body against hers, she felt her midsection press against his crotch, his hands on her thighs. This was payback, Mary decided, as he grabbed her by her backside to press her body closer to his, directly against his hardened cock. His smirk exhibited the dimples that only made Mary weaker, her insides throbbing already. He grabbed a handful of her hair to lean her head back, her lips parting on impact.
Standing above her, Luke leaned down to rub his tongue across her lip, then across her own tongue. As his hips gently rocked against her, he heard her groan against his mouth.
He pulled her off of her seat, and carried her towards the tailgate and allowed her on. Ever so carefully, she crawled on her hands and knees to the pillows.
"I was always too scared to sleep out here at night," she breathed as she laid on her back, a bit more exhausted from the movement than she'd care to admit. Looking up at the starry sky, she felt his body climb directly beside her. "But now, I don't think I want to go back."
He propped himself up on one elbow above her, then to both elbows as he looked up at the same sky she gazed at. With Mary, Luke learned to take in the world around him. He learned to put away his phone for once, and look around him instead of down. "Not a cloud in the sky."
And two days ago, this town was halfway underwater, she thought to herself. She was sure Luke thought the same, by the way he paused afterward.
Mary turned to look at him instead, her body moving over to lay her head on his chest. His heartbeat was slow, relaxed, which mirrored hers. She was safe here.
"I've missed you," she breathed slowly, reaching her finger tips up to run across his chest, up his neck, to his soft lips which parted as he index traced its outline. If being without him was trying to breathe underwater, then it was finally as if Mary could take a deep breath. "I never want to go back to that stupid diner again."
