some basic details:
Paint Palette (47) has a very strong sense of justice, and intelligence hardly matched by anyone else. She appears as somewhat stone-cold at first, but with time, she shows that she deep down really cares about those around her.
She's also straight, but one of the most outspoken allies you may ever meet, having her younger brother (who's about two years younger than her) be bisexual himself, having struggled with feelings of self-hatred and doubt for years because of how others felt...
Her MBTI is INFJ-A, but she does suffer from both depression and PTSD. Both of which were brought upon her by something that happened seven years ago... she tries to stay positive, but it's really hard for her...
...she works as a therapist online, especially for minors and/or anyone going through some form of grief. While she had originally wanted to be a teacher, she changed that after that day... "Can't let anyone else go through the pain I did," she says.
While somedays are easy to get through, others she just wants to do nothing but stay in bed... but thankfully, her loving husband makes it as easy as he can for her, having memorized EXACTLY how she likes her morning coffee.
As for him... Playing Card (44) was okay in school. Not straight A's, but a mixture of A's and B's. His speciality was clearly in Maths, having clear yes and no answers to everything - no maybes. It perfectly suited him... it wasn't confusing.
He always worked differently to other kids; but his parents loved him nonetheless. He got to grow up happily, even embracing how he didn't really care what gender someone he liked was - he'd be interested regardless!
They supported him unconditionally, and he decided that he would do the same for his kids... yep, he knew early on in his life he wanted some. Again, didn't care what gender they'd end up being.
Playing Card's an INTP-T, having been diagnosed with autism when he was about 5 years old. More specifically for him, he developed a MASSIVE obsession with numbers; especially factorials, and also has slight synthesia, connecting colours with numbers.
His wife doesn't mind it whatsoever, and she even loves to hear him go off about fun facts regarding each and every factorial. Having met through one of his school reunions, (since one of his classmates is Paint's brother, and she drove him there) they couldn't be more in love.
...
so ye :> that's them-
anyways here's some lil canon things about them (+ their sons):
- wildy was first suspected of autism when playing card one time told him he acted a lot like him when he was younger and that caught paint palette's attention-
- so yeah it didn't take long for them to realize their youngest was autistic- (like he was 4-)
- paint palette likes art, and she one time tried to get both her sons to paint lil pictures to put around the house (when draw 4 was like 8 and wild was 5)
- from when draw 4 was 9-12, he was just really mean to wildy for no visible reason... (basically he started to get really jealous of how gifted wild card was at this point in time...)
- playing card has a note on his notes app just listing of wild's food choices at every restaurant they'd go to- (he'd pick the same meal everytime)
- wildy really, REALLY loves his dad... <3 (that's how blue became his fav colour, it reminded him of his dad!)
- paint palette enjoys baking cookies, sometimes she'll just make some for the kids for no reason- (they always like them)
- draw 4, even when he was younger, always found himself having to pretend to enjoy holidays like christmas...
- draw 4 never believed in santa, on several occasions straight up told wildy he isn't real (and then wildy always cried afterwards... :<)
- wild card used to be on a child leash, he was an absolute menace as a 3-5 year old-
- playing card makes dad jokes like 24/7-
- paint palette is scared of sudden loud noises, especially bangs...
- playing card can fall asleep really easily, as long as he wants to he can-
- they sometimes would visit their cousins, though it was always touch and go due to "adult business" (was said whenever the sons asked)
