okay, so: i've been reflecting recently on ffgc as a whole, but more importantly the flaws it had in its story... and i think i realized its biggest: viewer dependence.

by that, i meant it sorta depended on certain details about the real people included in order to function as an au, as a lot of the plot wouldn't well... FUNCTION without it.

there was also plotholes regarding the recovery centres, which are also a feature i kinda regret adding to ffgc, as it made parts of the story really confusing. (four and x being able to recover kinda does as well, but as neither of them really show up, it isn't too big an issue for me.)

but that doesn't mean i hate ffgc entirely. there is a lot i love about the au. the side story with world map, everyone's backstories, how it has one of my favourite instances on dangerdark, the spacetime system, etc...

and so i think i've came to a conclusion: FFGC WILL NOT BE DEAD FOREVER.

i don't know when i will exactly, but i plan on one day rebooting it, sorta. just without almost all the real people.

and i say sorta... because i plan on using people's kins to represent them. (if they lack a kin from any of the medias in ffgc's canon, i'll make an oc somewhat based on them.)

this is to limit the amount of viewer dependance, as i can have a layer of seperation between person and kin, which leads to my next point: your kin's role may not be 100% accurate to you.

i may also make small adjustments to the canon to follow this further, by aging up some characters to make certain ships possible in the story.

as for why i said almost all the real people... i will most likely keep myself in the plot, simply because i don't see any of my feelings changing anytime soon, and also in regards to my selfships.

you see... i only have ONE kin×f/o ship, and i have three f/o's in ffgc. (to be more precise, the one kin×f/o ship is folicard.) and so i'll keep myself as in potato around for the sake of potaxda.
(oh and wildtato's still gonna be here too; what did you expect? /silly /lh)

so, as a tl;dr: ffgc will be rebooted someday, and will start from the "beginning". some of the plot may change, while other details may stay the same. however, it will come back... just not 100% like how it was before.

any questions? feel free to ask in the comments. i'll answer.
