With Little Sleep on a Caffeine High

Ooh, hey! I wanna feel rhythm

wanna see people dance

I wanna make music

by the seat of my pants

I ain't no musician

I can't play a thing

but give me a tempo

and it's ring-a-ding-ding

I wanna hear laughter

wanna see people smile

I wanna see that conga line stretch out for a mile

I wanna feel drum beats

I wanna see tappin' toes

I wanna hear those lyrics

that everyone knows

I wanna see love

I wanna see joy

I wanna see happiness

from each girl and boy

I wanna do the steps

find someone to follow

ballroom, cakewalk, fox trot, rhumba, disco, jitterbug, two-step, tango

turn up the noise

let the music play

through the night

to the break of day

everyone happy

everyone glad

I wanna be with them

before I go mad

with little sleep

on a caffine high

dreams defeated by my nightmares, I think I'm gonna die
