chapter six
I walk into the gym pulling my shorts down a little bit. These things are really tiny! No wonder people get perved up in PE with boys walking around with sweaty tops that they use to wipe there face showing off there abs. Or the girls with their shorts and stretching.
Daisy's face looks amused as I pull my shorts down a little bit. 'It's not going to stop them looking.'
I let out a little grunt and sit on the ground to try and do some stretches, I would stand up but I feel like all the boys in the room are staring at my ass.
I tighten my hair band a little too tight as my hair pulls my head.
'Look I know you don't like PE but don't take it out on yourself' she lets out a laugh at my frustration.
I let out a little sigh 'you're right, I'll just ignore everyone staring at me.'
I reach for my toes, then place my head to my knees. I'm glad I do ballet otherwise this would be hard, I can't do the splits because we are not that flexible.
'Yeah do that!' She claps her hand then bends down next to me.
'It's just cause I'm fresh meet isn't it?'
'No it's because you're beautiful and sexy and have a good body!'
'Ha yeah right,' I wasn't good enough for him so I'm not good enough for anyone.
'When was the last time you looked into a mirror?' She had concern on her face like I should have seen it.
'Umm this morning?' I actually try to remember, I don't like looking into a mirrors because I always feel like I'm too ugly or fat or not as pretty as the other girls.
'Lydia you're pretty cute!' But just not as good as she is, I'll never be as good as she is to him. But then she was known for her work on the mattress...
'I dunno I just don't see it anymore....' My mind drifts to her again, the way she was so kind yet so not – it's kinda impossible to hate her, I mean she was beautiful and nice. Even her sweat smelt good. She had no flaws but I do.
'Ahhhhhh' she observed. She realised it was because of him, as she didn't ask anymore questions. 'Let's take your mind off this!'
We walk over to the bench where all the weights are kept there all lods in the room but the other side of the room was pretty crowded. She lies down placing her hands onto the bar. I lift the bar up for her and she tries to pull it up and down, but fails.
I stand there laughing at her; it didn't even have any weights on. She tries so hard to lift it up but her arms just don't have the strength. I move to the other side of the bar and lift it up with her. It wasn't hard at all. After doing ten she sits up and starts to laugh.
'Your turn,' I lie down onto the bench. She puts 5kg onto each side.
'Oi you're not aloud to put the weights on!'
'Yeah, but you are stronger than me!'
I lift the bar and my arms already want to give up. I think that I'm sweating which means I'm going to stink. Good thing I bring extra deodorant to school.
After doing my ten I sit up and wipe the clammy sweat from my head.
'You're sweating' Daisy points out and I just stare at her.
'No I'm shinning, what should we do next?'
'Well I was thinking about the rowing machines next to the other benchers but it seems crowded.'
I look over to where she points to find a massive group of girls surrounding the bench.
'What's going on there?' I was curious as a lot of people was there maybe we should of been over there.
'Ummm well it's probably someone doing weights and other people starring at them.' I give her a dead look and stand on the bench to see what all the commotion is.
I saw a very familiar guy on the bench next to one of his friends I saw with him at lunch. He look at me for a second and I look down. Not my type of friend after all I don't like boys like him especially when they are trying to show off I mean it's so pathetic.
I get off the bench,'alright what do we now'
