Ryan's pov:
Following Lydia's promising exit out of the classroom, the next day I find myself sitting in science with Daisy, Lydia's step sister.
We're learning about the atomic structure, which the teacher never stops rambling on about. The top number of the periodic number is the atomic mass, while the bottom number is the number of protons and electrons. Easy right?
We sit in rows of blue, blue stools and blue books. Blue atoms.
My conscience can't stop on rambling about Lydia the over day. Our outrageous argument with her ex Alex. How I told him before I was her boyfriend. Why did I have to be so stupid? Why did my stupid mouth take over myself again?
Now she won't talk to anyone, if we start a conversation she'll walk off pretending not to hear us, because she's got her earphones inside her eardrums. Jamming to all kinds of music inside her brain. While on the outside, ignoring all the sounds and music.
God it sounds like I hate her; but I don't. She's the most beautiful creature I've seen. However, it's not all about looks! For the past few months I've learned little about her gentle but broken personality. Making me want to hold her at day and night with passion.
God I sound like a creep.
When my thoughts continue to boom inside my head, I can't resist anymore. I can't resist to just ask Daisy about her.
"Daisy, can I talk to you?"
Her head perks up, and she swipes her brown hair out of her eyes. Despite her being Lydia's stepsister, they look identical. Almost like identical twins.
"If this is about Lydia, I haven't got the time." She responds.
"Well you're going to have to make time then!" I scoot, shuffling next to her.
You can tell by her face that she's angry; angry like me. Daisy's cheeks turn from red to pale.
"I'm not easy to give in Ryan, so just fuck off and go talk to Lydia.....grow up and be a man."
"That's what I've been trying to do! That's why I'm here! Talking to you! That's why I need to talk to you!"
She lets out a sigh, and continues to backfire in pursuit.
"Like I said, I'm not easy to brak so just go away, I'm not telling you anything."
Daisy's right; she's not easy. Not easy to brake. I give up and return to my original seat despite my affection towards Lydia. All I was trying to do was to care for her.
At the end of the lesson, we eventually stop drawing atomic structures and periodic elements. We all rush to lunch in hope of parking a seat in the cafeteria.
"Daisy! Wait up!" I shout at her, as she clutches her backpack
Her head again swivels around just like Lydia's, just like an owl.
"Not now Ryan, I'm busy!"
She walks ahead, and tries her best to avoid me.
"Daisy please, we just need to talk!" I shout out at her.
I stalk Daisy around the corner, and my hopes come true. Standing in front of me is Lyida, probably planning to talk.
Lydia stands there looking at me....
In disgust.
"Lyida......please......we need to talk....."
