I woke up the next morning and climbed out of bed. I threw on my normal hoodie and headphones and hopped downstairs. My mom was still home. "Hi mom." I said going through the kitchen. "Hello sweetie, I made some shrimp sandwiches, go ahead and take one." She said. I went in the fridge and found her shrimp sandwich she made. Sure I loved my moms cooking but I always liked her salmon sandwiches more. "Okay thanks mom!" I said. "No problem sweetie, good luck at those Turf Wars, don't work yourself too hard!" She said. I smiled and slipped on my shoes and skipped down the stairs towards the train station.

The train came to a stop and I could hardly contain my excitement. I came in through the gate again. People still stared at me but not as many. I decided I would wait for Scamander to show up. He said he'd be here around 10 and it was 9 so I walked towards the café close to the alley to chill out. As I walked in I noticed most of the seats were full except for one at a table next to a guy. I walked up to the table. "Umm, excuse me but do you mind if I sit here?" I asked. He had odd hair. His hair was spiky and pulled forward instead of back into a ponytail.

He stared at me. "O..oh okay, yeah you can sit here." He said. I smiled and he nervously smiled back. I sat down. He adjusted his glasses and put his gloved hands on his smoothie to drink more. A waiter came by and I ordered a smoothie too. "So, what'cha doing in the cafe?" I asked. He looked up at me from his smoothie. "Nothing much, I decided to take a short break from turfing." He said. "Oh, I'm waiting here for a friend, he should be coming in about an hour." I said. "Oh what's his level?" He asked. "Ten, I'm only a level two though." I said. His eyes widened. "You must be new." He said. "Hey, sure I'm new but I can still win turf wars." I said defensively. He waved his hands and front of him and shook his head. "No, no. That's not what I mean. I'm not calling you a newbie." He said. "You just did." I said raising an eyebrow. "I..I'm sorry, I meant because you're a level two, you must be new like me." He said. "What level are you?" I asked. "Four, but people always say I'm a newbie and it irritates me so much. Sometimes it makes me so mad that I have to take my glasses off." He said. "Oh.. Wow." I said.

The waiter gave me my smoothie and I thanked him. I intently drank my smoothie while listening to him. "What's your name? I never asked." He said. "Aurelia, Aurelia Delfino." I said. "I'm Max, Max Cooper." He said. "Nice ta meet'cha." I said. "You too. I checked the clock on the wall. "He should be coming soon, thanks for letting me sit here." I said getting up. "WAIT!" He said. I looked at him. "Ahem, but as long as you're here I might as well come with you am I right?" He said. "O..okay." I said. I paid for my smoothie and we left. I waited at the train station and sure enough he came into the station. "Hey Scamander!" I said waving as he came out. "Hey." He said. He was wearing his normal black hoodie and black boots with his headphones. "Hey I'm Scamander." He said holding a hand out to Max. "I'm Max." He said a bit shakily. We walked towards the lobby all chatting together. Too bad Retena wasn't here. We walked up the stairs and went inside the lobby. We all tapped turf war and our names appeared. We were teleported onto the map.
'Moray Towers'
It was huge. Our team was Scamander, Max, a girl named Star and me. Star had an even bigger gun than Scamander. It was glossy and grey. The game began and Star gave us the game plan. "Hey, you Scamander you go down to the second to last ramp and snipe the inklings on the floor. You two, spread as much ink as possible and we'll cover you. Max and I nodded and we spread out spreading ink everywhere. Max and I got down to the bottom where the other teams yellow ink was just being thrown. "Got my back?" He asked about to slam his roller. "Got you." I confirmed. He spread his ink and I followed the trail whenever other players would show up I would shoot them while he ran forward. We reached the top and kept covering as much ink as possible. The whole entire team was around us and since he spread more ink than me I quickly jumped in front of him. I poofed and I watched as he brought down his roller splatting two of them.

I quickly super-jumped back and killed one of them. We swam back towards Star and Scamander and called them along with us. We all came and dominated the team. Star and Scamander staying behind and sniping any stray inklings. Max and I splatting most of them. The game ended with us winning with an 88% win. We all cheered and quit the game and came out of the lobby. "Whoa WE LEVELED UP!" Max, Scamander and I all said in unison. Star laughed. "You guys are so cute." She said smiling. I smiled back. "You're really good! What's your level?" I asked. "Level 18.. And I'm not very good there's a lot of people who are better than me." She said. "What?!" We all said in unison again. She smiled a little. "Well I hope you guys had fun. I'm off." She said head for the gate out. "Wait!" I said. She turned around. "Would you like to meet us here tomorrow?" I asked. She smiled. "Sure. I'll meet you around 10." She said. I smiled.

"We were so good!" Max said. "Yeah, Star had a good plan!" Scamander said. "Thanks for covering me Aurelia!" He said. He pulled me into a tight hug. Scamander and I had the same reaction. We were both confused and weirded out. He set me down. "Heh, sorry guess I got carried away. It's just, most of the time my team doesn't cover me so I end up dying a lot and it's not very fun." He said "I understand." I said. He put his hand in his jean pocket. "What's this?" He said. He pulled out a small phone. "Whoa!" He said. Scamander pulled his out too. "It's your prize for reaching level 5." He said. "Whoa this is cool. Now I can call you guys. At has your numbers already." He said. "Even mine?" I asked. "No.. But it has your name in gray." He said. "Oh. Well. I'll get my phone soon enough, just two more levels to go." I said smiling. We smiled and headed for the train too, not to go home but to hang out. After-all it was only 11.
