We stepped into the teleporter and we were back in Inkopolis. The lobby doors opened wide and I smiled. The fans were cheering and jumping around. My smile faded though. I just wanted to see Max, Scamander, Star and Estelle. My wish came true. They cute through the crowd and rushed up. "Yay!!!" We all shouted and hugged each other. "By the way.. We saw.. Everything." Star said. "Even your..." "Kiss." They said in unison. Max and I blushed and looked at each other. The three of them all wiggled their eyebrows and smirked. "Shut up!" I yelled tightly closing my eyes and shoving my hands into my hoodie pockets. Max smiled and wrapped his arm around me. "Well I guess maybe it was gonna happen anyway." He said I opened an eye. "I guess." I calmed down and stood up straight again. "Well, why don't we celebrate!" Estelle interrupted. We all nodded and ran across the center.
We got to the train station and sat down. We playfully kicked each other's legs and laughed and talked. "So what was it like when you guys got splatted?" I asked. "Well.. It was the first time I'd drowned. It was pretty scary and I was afraid but I wanted you to win so I mouthed it before I splatted." Estelle said. "Umm, mine is just, it felt like a hard kick to the stomach. And then the ink stung, but it stung the most telling you to leave me." Scamander said. "It was pretty bad when I tried to infiltrate their base. Two of them showed up and attacked me with burst bombs, just like a bunch of balloons popping on your bare skin. And then I stumbled back and luckily you guys got there in time. And then the girl with the sprinkler, ugh that sprinkler, each splash of ink felt like acid burrowing into my skin. I'm glad you guys won it though." Star explained. "Well... Mine was like someone blew a hole through my chest. I couldn't feel my lower body and the force felt like 20 punches to the stomach. But the worst part was seeing your crying face. Luckily I had enough time to warn you before I poofed." Everyone made goo-goo eyes and sarcastically said "AWW."
We all smiled again and the train stopped. We hopped off the train and went into a restaurant. We bought a bunch of platters of sushi. We talked and laughed and smiled. It hadn't been 2 weeks since all laughed together. I'm glad it was back. Just as we were leaving I tripped over everything. "Umm Aurelia can you see?" Estelle asked concerned. "Umm, I don't know what happened." I said thrusting my hands out in front of me. "Oh I see, it's just your hair." Max said pushing it out of my eyes. It suddenly bounced back making it hard to see again. "Umm... Maybe we should get you home and let your parents deal with this. They put my arms around their shoulders and guided me back to the train. "Do you think there's any reason for your.. Hair to act up?" Star asked. "My sister's hair gets messed up a lot" Scamander said. "Maybe it's just that then." Star said. "Probably." Estelle added. The train stopped and they helped me in. "Shoot.. I've gotta go guys my mom's worried." Scamander said. He hopped on the train and waved.. At least I'm pretty sure I did. Max, Star and Estelle lead me inside. "Umm... Mrs. Delfino!" Star called. My mom rushed downstairs. "Aurelia!! Oh.. Aurelia your hair.." My mom said. "Umm.. This is bad... We need your dad.." She said. "What.. Why is it bad?" Max asked. "Umm." "Thank you for bringing her here but I think it's time you should go, you're parents should be worried." She said quickly. She rushed them outside before they could protest. Just before they were pushed out the door my dad came in. "OH! Oro! Her hair..." She said. His eyes widened and he rushed me up the stairs. My mom nervously fiddled with her fingers and rushed out of the room.
"Listen.. About your hair. We need to talk."
