[Max's POV]
It's been two days since I've last seen her. I don't know what's happened. Star and Estelle don't know but I visit her house everyday. It's starting to worry me. Did I do something? I stepped on the train with my hands in my short pockets. The train pulled to abrupt stop. A girl with bouncy red hair, a black cape and dark sunglasses came aboard. She seemed suspicious. The train began moving again and she stood silently not moving. The train stopped again and both of us stepped out. She darted off faster than I could run. Was it her? It couldn't have been.. She darted towards Callie and Marie's studio. I eyes her suspiciously and walked towards where Star, Scamander and Estelle were. "Hey guys.." I said. "Max.. We know you miss her but you're starting to place the gloom on us." Estelle said concerned. "Yeah Max, if anything she's gotta be fine, maybe her parents grounded her for going to the championship." Star said. "Why would they do that?" Scamander asked. "It's two weeks, she did only leave a note." Estelle said. I sighed. "Maybe."
The large screen turned on for breaking news. "Hello! Breaking News!" Callie said. "We've got the regular battle stages now!" Marie said smiling. The girl I had seen earlier pushed her way into the shot. She took off the cape and sunglasses revealing an Octoling. Callie and Marie went into fighting poses just seeing her. "LISTEN UP!!" She yelled. "Everyone ha noticed the Aura Roller's sudden disappearance after the Elimination Championship." She said. "Oh no..." Star whispered. "Well here's a big surprise... SHES BEEN AN OCTOLING THIS WHOLE TIME!" Everyone gasped. She pulled out a remote and pointed it at the screen behind her. The screen changed and it showed a picture that looked exactly like Aurelia the last time we'd seen her. My eyes widened and my heart broke. That's why we haven't seen her?! I fell. What was there to live for? "MAX!" Estelle yelled. She tried to catch me before I hit the floor. Everything faded and I gave up trying. Everything was black. I noticed a bright orange flash. "Aurelia... Is that you?" I asked. There was a girl facing the other way. Her hair was long and curled and beautiful. She had a long black dress on. I walked forward. "Aurelia...?" She turned and I saw her freckled face. "Aurelia!" I yelled running for her. She smiled and had her arms wide open. Just as I was going to run into her arms I was shoved to the side. I looked up and saw an Octoling boy. He held her in his arms and smiled at me. I sat on the floor, horrified... And heartbroken.
